AU: Sophie and friends are in human world
"Ok people! You guys have your lines! Take them home to practice and practice!" Cried Mr. Jeppress, our drama teacher.
"Soph! Wait up!" yelled a voice from behind Sophie. She turned around to find Fitz.
"I was wondering if you wanted to practice our lines together." He asked breathlessly.
"Um. No. Sorry Fitz. I promised Keefe already." Sophie said blushing. "Another time!" She called over her shoulder as she turned and jogged outside. She glanced behind her a saw Fitz sigh and kick a pebble, mumbling to himself and shaking his head furiously.

When Sophie arrived home she found her mother and father in the kitchen.
"What's up?" She asked smiling and grabbing a slice of mallow melt that was left over from breakfast.
"Did you get it. The main role? For the play?" Edaline asked excitedly.
"No... Biana got it." I said sighing as I slumped down at the table.
"Aww. Sweetie..."
"JOKING! Of course I got it!" Sophie yelled, surprising Edaline and Grady.
"WHAT!" She shrieked hopping up and down like a bunny.
"That's amazing." Grady said a huge smile spreading over his face.
"Who plays the lead boy?" Edaline asked now interested.
"Keefe (As the knight in shining armour). And Biana's playing the Queen. And Dex the--" Sophie was cut off as Grady took a sharp breath.
"Keefe? As in That Boy!?" He asked. Sophie nodded continuing.
"Dex is playing the jester and Tam is the King. And Fitz is my brother, the prince. Oh. Linh is the castle's sorcerer and Marella got the evil witch." Sophie ended happily. "I'm so excited!" She squealed.
"Hold on. Keefe is playing your savoir?!" Grady asked still shocked.
"Yes. Why is that a problem Grady?" Edaline asked with a bit of an edge on her voice.
"Oh. Uh. Nothing. I guess." He mumbled looking down.
"Anyways..." Sophie said giving her parents a strange look. "Keefe is coming over so we can practice our lines." She finished.
"Perfect! I'll make mallow melt." Edaline said turning to the kitchen cupboards. Sophie made her way upstairs and she heard Grady start talking very quickly, and all she caught was,
"She can't...That Boy!" She shook her head then realized how much a mess her room was. Dirty clothes were strewn all over and her sheets were un-tucked and half off her bed. Her garbage was overflowing and books were covering her desk. Sophie groned and began picking up her clothes. Sophie glanced at her watch and shut her eyes frustrated. Keefe was coming over in 5 minutes and she still had so much to clean.
"MOM!" Sophie yelled through the house. She could faintly hear her mother getting up from downstairs and coming up.
"What is it honey?" She asked, then gasped looking at the mess.
"I know!" Sophie whined. "Can you please help me?" Edaline smiled and walked over to Sophie's desk and began sorting it out. Sophie resumed her other task as setting her bed straight. Exactly 5 minutes later, the doorbell rang and her room was mostly clean.
Keefe! Sophie thought rushing down stairs.
When Sophie got downstairs Grady was standing in the doorway glaring at Keefe.
"Hi, Keefe" Sophie said waving then walking to the door nudging Grady out of the way and grabbed Keefe's arm and pulled him through the doorway. She lead him up the stairs where Edaline smiled and promised some mallow melt after they were done revising their lines.
"Sorry about Grady...He can be..um, intense." Sophie said nervously, wringing her hands.
"That's oka--" Keefe began.
"Let's practice our lines!" Sophie exclaimed as she rushed to her desk and grabbed a stack of papers of of it and dropped them in front of keefe. "Let's start at scene 47-53?"
"Sure." Keefe said easily. He riffled through his package. He let a small smile flow over his face and he looked at Sophie.
"What?!" She cried.
"How about to scene...60?" he suggested. Sophie's throat dried up and she croaked,
"Oh..uh, okay." Before blushing cherry red. 'He wants to practice our kiss. Crap. Crap. Crap!' Sophie didn't have time to re-think her agreement before Keefe began the revision saying,
"Princess Laylinna. Ma Cherie! Please don't go! We can work this out!"
"Really?!" Princess Laylina (Sophie) scoffed. "Asher! I'm done! You swore over the Gifted water to not leave the palace!"
"But-But Laylina!" Asher (Keefe) yelled.
"Good-bye peasant." Laylina (Sophie) said coldly without looking back.
"Princess...?" Asher (Keefe) said carefully, thinking about what he was going to say.
"What?" Laylina (Sophie) said without looking back.
"I...I l-love you." He said breathlessly. His face sincere and full of hope. Laylina (Sophie) slowly turned around and looked Asher (Keefe) in the eye.
"Say that again. Look into my eyes, and say it."
"I...Love...You!" Asher (Keefe) rushed forward before laylina could say anything. "I love you. I want to be with you." Laylina (Sophie) smiled softly, looking into Asher's beautiful face.
"I love you too." She whispered. Asher (Keefe) leant forward and placed a soft kiss on her lips.
Sophie pulled apart breathlessly. Her cheeks were flaming, but she was smiling. SOphie snuck a glance at Keefe. He was looking at her. Intensely.
"Keefe?" she said softly. "Are you okay?"
"Hmm? What? Ya!" He said breaking out of his daydream and shook his head. He looked at Sophie again. "Foster. I'm not okay. You drive me crazy!"
"What?! Keefe! What are yo--" Sophie was cut off.
"I'm saying I...I like you. Your gorgeous! And brave and pretty and...." Keefe trailed off. Sophie was staring at Keefe intently. Sophie leaned forward slightly. her face was blushing furiously. She brushed her lips across his. A small smile spread across his face. He kissed her. Sophie smiled and kissed him back happily!
