As we was riding back home I laid on Kwan shoulder as he drove us. I was stress free from all the hell we faced today. We held hands and rode in the night air. As we got closer to the house I dreaded going home.

"Kwan stop me by this store. I'm thirsty."

"Ok baby."

We pulled up and got out the car. We held hands waking in the store. We got something to drink and walked to the register. As we was checking out the unthinkable happened. I didn't know how Kwan was gonna react to this but I know it was gonna be very bad.

"Well what do we have here? I've been searching for your punk ass."

Kwan looked and stepped up to Jason.

"Nigga I'll kill you right here."

"You can try but I don't know if that will happen."

Kwan was face to face with Jason and I was scared as hell. I pulled out my phone and called daddy. I turned on my location and texted him.

Amira:
Get here quick we are in danger. Kwan and Jason are going at it.

They was arguing so they didn't even notice me do it.

Dad:
  On my way.

"Kwan please let's just go." Amira said scared.

"Nah we ain't leaving until this nigga feel the pain he caused my mama."

"Oh you can get what she got too. It don't make me no difference. I didn't want your ass anyway."

"I don't want you as my damn dad either bitch."

"So you want this fight nigga?"

"Oh I'm all ready for you."

Kwan pushed Jason and Jason pushed him back. I was getting scared.

"Please don't do this." I said to Jason.

"Girl do you really think I give a damn about what you want me to do? I don't. If you ain't careful I'll knock your ass out too." Jason said.

Next thing I know Kwan punched him in the mouth. And the fight began. I was hollering and screaming.

"Stop please. Stop this."

The store manager was trying to break it up but it was to no success for him. Next thing I knew daddy came running in and grabbed Kwan and knocked Jason down.

"Kwan step back behind me right now." Alonzo said.

"Nah dad. I want to kill him for real yo. You killed my mom and now you trying to come at me and my girl!!!"

"Your girl? So you following your mama footsteps fucking with the lame ass family?"

"Nigga I'll kill your bitch ass."

"Shut up Kwan. You two go get in the truck and go home now!"

Me and Kwan walked to the door to leave and we heard a gun shot. I turned around and saw my dad laying on the ground. I ran back to him.
