My eyes fluttered open, adjusting to the bright sun peering down into the truck. I covered the sun with my hand, which didn't really help all that much. I lifted my head up to see who was up, only to see that no one else was awake or at least out of their tent. I rested my head back on Theo's arm, snuggling back into him.
I closed my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. I found an area on Theo that was shaded, so the sun was no longer in my eyes, but I still couldn't get back to sleep. I felt tired and felt the need to sleep, but it almost seems impossible. It might be from the butterflies that still remain in my stomach from last night.
Last night. The best night of my life and defiantly a night I'll always remember. A night to never forget and a night I'll never be able to forget. The night where I finally gave my all to Theo and he gave me his. The night I wish I could relive all over again.
I sat up slightly and hoped that that would wake up Theo, but it didn't. He didn't even move a muscle. I placed my lips on his neck, kiss all around his neck. He took his a deep breath as he woke up, his eyes slowly opening as the adjusted to the bright sun.
"Well good morning," he croaked out, stretching out his arms. "How long have you been up for?"
"Not too long, only about 5 minutes or so." I told him, moving a piece of his hair from his face. "You look so gorgeous when you just wake up."
He looked down at me and smiled, wrapping his arms around me and pulling me into a tight hug. He kissed the top of my forehead, resting his lips there for a few seconds before pulling away. I looked back up to him, smiling as I slowly got closer to his lips.
I pressed our lips together, moving in sync with him. This kiss was a lot softer and a lot more delicate then the last few kisses we've had. It was more like those first few kisses that we had, when we didn't know what we wanted and when we didn't know how to act towards each other. When we were both just discovering what we wanted.
Theo pulled away from the kiss, raising his eyebrows as he rested his head back down on the pillow, "this lake has done something to you, Dunbar."
I smirked, looking out at the still water. "Well maybe we should come here more often," I suggested, watching as a smirk appeared on Theo's face.
"Well that is defiantly something to consider." He told me, sitting up and kissing me before getting out of the truck.
I passed him his jumper, admiring his body as he put on his jumper. He grabbed my hand as he helped me out, placing my jumper over my head. I finished putting my jumper on and looked at our bedding area, noticing how messy it was. We had food wrappers and clothes thrown everywhere and not to mention we haven't made our bed since we've been here, so our blanket and pillows were thrown around everywhere.
I grabbed out all our clothes and started folding them back up, sorting them out into mine and Theo's piles. Theo grabbed out all the rubbish and started making the bed to the best of his ability. Once everything was neat and tidy again, we went out to the kitchen area, seeing if anyone else was up.
There was movement in Stiles and Malia's tent and I could hear voices from Jackson and Ethan and Corey and Mason's tent, but nothing from Isaac's. I went over to the stove top and turned it on, getting ready to boil some water. I put a pot of water over the flame and grabbed out some eggs and bacon.
I started to cook up breakfast, getting a hand from Theo, who was a pretty good chef. I mean he can cook up a pretty good roast and he's not too bad at chicken noodle soup. He use to make it for me when I was going through my rough stage. He's always managed to be there, even when I tried to push him away.
