"Get in here, Kizashi!"

To say that Tsunade was pissed was an understatement. She had just witnessed two Konoha shinobi attacking each other in the halls of her hospital. And it didn't take long for her to piece together what had happened. When Kizashi entered, his face was as white as a ghost.

"What in the hell were you thinking? Attacking your daughter? In the middle of the hospital? Have you lost your mind? I ought to strip you of your headband."

'Milady, it was a Haruno clan issue. Kakashi overstepped his boundaries. I'm not going to let some young punk mess up the hierarchy of my clan."

"She's been married to Kakashi for a long time. And she hasn't been in your clan for years, Haruno. She's been gone for 16 years. And even if she was, you shouldn't need the Hokage to tell you not to attack your own flesh and blood. I bet you and Mebuki don't do that to Sakura."

"Sakura hasn't given me the issues that Mizuka has in the past."

Tsunade stood and walked to the front of her desk.

"Kizashi, it's not her fault that she was born to parents who didn't know what to do with her. Stop treating her like it's her fault when the fault clearly lies with you. Even before she left, she practically raised herself. She finally has the clan she never had, so leave them alone."

"But, Milady, we've raised my youngest as the only child-"

"That's not my concern. You chose to deceive her, and now you must pay the price!"

Kizashi had a defiant sneer spread across his face.

"And what will Kakashi's punishment be for attacking a fellow shinobi?"

"Grow up, Haruno. I'm actually giving him a few days off to tend to his wife. You're getting time off as well: two weeks suspension without pay. But I will give you something to think about on your suspension: you left her to raise herself so that you and Mebuki could become great shinobi, and the child you abandoned had become a greater shinobi than either of you could ever hope to become. She's lovely and intelligent, and extremely gifted. And you tried to silence her, and now she's stronger than ever. She is not part of the Haruno clan anymore. Now, get out of my office."

He left quietly, shutting the door behind them and leaving Tsunade alone in the Hokage's office.  In a fit of frustrated rage, she knocked the lamp off of the desk before sitting down in her chair.  She had done all that she could without letting her personal feelings get in the way.  At this point, any kind of justice that was served would be out of her hands.
