RWBY: The Forbidden Legend

Prologue-Volt

Somewhere located in Vauco seven years before the events of Volume One

No ones POV

A young boy in ragged cloths with marks similar to lighting on his arms known as Volt is carrying food while running as if his life depended on it from a shopkeeper throughout Vauco's streets.

Shopkeeper: Stop you little thief!

Young Volt: *is currently running while barely keeping ahead of the shopkeeper* huff huff never huff going huff catch huff me huff 

As Volt is desperately trying to lose the shopkeeper chasing him by running in and out of the few crowds of people, an unknown figure in ancient style cloths is keeping their attention on Volt from a roof talking with someone on their scroll with a look of accomplishment on their face.

Unknown Figure: *has their scroll up to one of their ears* Sir I have located the descendant of the lighting dragon and will proceed to awaken his powers.

A few hours after Volt somehow manages to escape from the shopkeeper by slipping into an alleyway and is currently in a rundown shack in the outskirts of Vauco. 

Young Volt: (his mind) okay I just need to rest a bit before heading back to the city to help at the orphanage.

As volt is resting in the shack the Unknown Figure that was observing Volt being chased by a shopkeeper is currently standing outside of an orphanage with a crazed smirk before pulling out a fire dust crystal and crushing the crystal on the front door to the orphanage causing an explosion that results in pieces of the door to go flying into the main room of the orphanage.

Back with Volt as he sees smoke rising from the direction the orphanage is in begins to get scared that something bad has happened and rushes to the orphanage. The moment Volt gets to the orphanage he is greeted with a sight that will traumatize him for the rest of his life. What he sees is the dead bodies of his fellow orphans and the nun who looked after them all with someone standing over the bodies with blood dripping from their hands.

Unknown Figure: Well well if it isn't the current lighting dragon you sure took your sweet time getting here *laughs darkly with the crazy grin on their face still*

Volt: *remains silent as his eyes and lighting shaped marks on his arms begin to glow a very bright yellow before sending a lighting bolt straight at the person who killed the people that were closest to him*

The unknown figure is completely caught off guard by Volt just outright attacking them gets set flying out of the orphanage leaving a human shaped hole in the wall.

Unknown Figure: *gets off the ground with visible burn marks from the lighting while grunting in pain* heh that the best you got kid 

Volt: *lets out a roar as a yellow colored aura completely covers him as he transforms into a dragon with a serpentine shaped body with bolts of lighting flowing off of the transformed Volt*

After Volt awakened his draconic transformation the Unknown figure began to laugh as they have completed their mission to awaken the current descendant to dragon of lighting. Unfortunately they did not have long to celebrate their success.

Volt: *looks at the Unknown figure with absolute rage in his eyes before letting lose a series of lighting bolt from his mouth completely erasing any trace of the person who killed his fellow orphans before flying in the direction the desert*

Meanwhile on the dragon shaped continent

???????: *is looking at a screen in front of them displaying the aura levels of the person who Volt just killed* Well who'd of thought that the new lighting dragon would just off a fellow high ranking follower to the master. Oh well they served their purpose and now only five dragons are left to awaken. *changes the screen they are looking at to show pictures of the remaining descendants with their names under each picture as follows Lilly, Haru Helios, Aqua Fable, Jaden, and Ifrit before turning off the screen.
