RWBY: The Forbidden Legend

Prologue-Ifrit

 Kingdom of Vale some few weeks after a village outside of Atlas was mysteriously frozen over

A young girl who looks at least ten years old with red hair and in clothes close to being rags darting though different alley ways trying to lose two oddly dressed people from a group of them that had approached her earlier in the day

Earlier in the day

Young Girl's POV

I was slowly eating some food I managed to buy with what lien I was able to scrounge up, though even that was almost not enough this time, however, a boy and a girl with blue eyes and blonde hair who I assume is his girlfriend actually lended what I was missing. Sadly the two of them left before I could thank them. As I finish eating my food, I hear footsteps heading in my direction, however, it seems I noticed to late, as when I look up, there is a group of weirdly dressed people

????: Why hello there child, where are your parents?

I just shake my head with a shrug as to say I don't know

????: *smiles* Well then, would you like to come with us, we can give you a home

I begin to slowly back away from this group of people, though as tempting of an offer they gave me, it seemed bit too good to be true. Though it appears they have noticed me backing away from them as one of them goes to grab me by the wrist, but before they could even grab my wrist, the persons lower arm is cut off completely from a blade that came from above and they grip the stump on their arm in pain before another blade is plunged into their chest as someone jumps down from the building behind me. 

Wait this is the same boy that help pay for my food with his girlfriend

No ones POV

The boy pulls his blade out of the persons chest causing their blood to flow from the fatal wound

Boy: You need to run, these people aren't looking for your best intentions

Young girl: Wait what does that even mean?!

Boy: It will be explained later, just look for a blonde haired huntress, she will help you

The young girl nods and begins to run away and look for this huntress for help

Current time of the day

Young Girls POV

I continue running trying to find this blonde haired huntress, hopefully I find her soon, cause I do not know how much longer I can keep this distance from the two chasing me. After running for another few minutes I fall to my knees exhausted 

Me: N-No I-I h-have t-to k-keep g-going

Soon after I hear the two that have been chasing me stop right behind me

???: After all that trouble of chasing after you, now you are coming with ...

I hear the person talking before they stop, so I strain my exhausted body to turn, only to see the two surrounded by a purple bubble that is slowly lifting them off the ground, along with a new voice

????: Honestly, this is not what I expected while patrolling around the city, two people about to kidnap a young girl

I manage to get a decent look at whoever just helped me, and to my surprise it is the blonde haired huntress that boy told me to find for help

Me: P-Please h-help m-me

I managed out those few words to the huntress before passing out of exhaustion 

A few hours later

I wake up and find myself on a bed making me confused as to how I ended up here, and as I look around to catch my bearings before I hear someone talk

???: Ah good to see you awake sleepy head

I turn my head to see the boy that had helped me get away from most of those strange people just sitting nearby cleaning the blood of his weapons

Me: Where am I?

???: Well, the huntress I asked you to find seemed to have found you, and brought you to her home, oh my name is Fafnir Draken

Me: And what happened to the two that ended up chasing after me?

Fafnir: Well much to my protesting she wanted to have them imprisoned, before she then proceeded to scold me for killing the other people that were after you

I soon hear a door open and see the huntress walk in 

???: That is correct Mr. Draken, however I am glad to see that you have recovered child

Me: My name is Ifrit, not child

Fafnir: Well its nice to meet you Ifrit, now I should probably explain why they were after you

Me: I would like that, but may ask you your name miss

???: My name is Glynda Goodwitch

Fafnir: Now those people where after you, because of a dormant power within you

I tilt my head in confusion

Me: Are you talking about my aura?

Fafnir: No, the power I'm talking about is much older, and lied dormant in about five others

Me: Wait, you mean lied as it's not dormant anymore in five people?

Fafnir: That is correct, and those people almost succeed in awakening that power within you today, thankfully miss Goodwitch and I stopped that

Me: Then that means they won't go after me anymore right?

Goodwitch: Considering how mr. Draken was so against putting the last two of the group that approached you behind bars, its safe to say they will try again sometime in the future, but enough of this topic, miss Ifrit do you have any family?

I open my mouth to answer

Fafnir: Afraid she doesn't miss Goodwitch, earlier Lillie and I helped her play for the food she was buying, not to mention he clothes look to be on there last legs

I just give him a small glare as I could have answered for myself before smiling

Me: Oh so this Lillie must be your girlfriend 

I see him look away

Fafnir: We are just friends

Glynda: As nice as it is to see the both of you act like siblings, miss Ifrit would you like to live here with me as my adopted daughter

I blink my eyes in shock before just numbly nodding my head yes

Fafnir: Well I always did wonder what it would be like to be an older brother

Unknown Location

????: Damn that young Draken, no matter once more all he has done is delay what has been foretold, so you will be free from your prison and reclaim what the seven stole from you

The view changes to the large dragon statue as the eyes on it glow for a brief moment before the glow fades just as quickly

Okay I won't lie got a bit lazy with the writing, but with this all the prologues are finished, can Fafnir continue to delay whatever this groups goal is, or will the gears of fate begin to churn for the seven. Hope you guys look forward to the next chapter
