One Month after a boat wreckage was found between Mistral and Menagerie
In a village some twenty miles from Mantle and Atlas that is full of ancient looking buildings, a young boy of the age of ten can be found walking around the market place carrying a basket while simply looking at what is being sold by merchants and traders that are in the village for the week. The young boy eventually buys some vegetables, fruit, and meat from some of the merchants before leaving the village's market place and heading home, and just before he gets home, he runs into some of the other children in the village.
Child 1: Hey Jaden, doing some shopping today?
The young boy who is now revealed to be Jaden nods his head
Jaden: Yep just finishing up actually
Child 2: Yay that means you'll be able to play with us
Jaden chuckles at their excitement
Jaden: Of course just let me put these away at home first and then I'll play with you all
The other child all nod before heading off to the place they all usually play at, and Jaden continues on his way home to put away what he bought from the market place.
Meanwhile in another part of the village
Two people from the group that were seen in Atlas a few years ago can be found near the southern wall of the village with one of them planting what seems to some sort of explosive to the wall. As one of them was finishing up with placing the explosive, a villager happens to walk by and sees what they are doing.
Villager: Hey what do you two think you're doing?
???: *does not look away from the wall* Take care of them, this is almost done
????: Very well then, sorry but its nothing against you *vanishes quickly*
The villager tries to run after the second person vanished in front of them. However they sadly did not get very far before putting a hand to their throat as blood flows from a gash that just appeared. The villager collapses to the ground as they bleed out to death with no sound at all.
????: *reappears* And that's done
???: Good, I've just finished with this, now all we have to do is get to a safe distance, blast this wall into nothing, and let the Grimm take care of the rest
?????: And the stress from such a sudden attack will certainly awaken the current ice dragon
The two people move away from the wall and exit the village, before continuing to walk away for a few miles. Once the two believed they were far enough from the village, the one that planted the explosives on the wall pulls out a trigger and presses down on it, causing the wall to explode. This results in any villager that heard the explosion to panic, and attract the nearby Grimm around the village.
Inside the village after the explosion
Jaden and the other children of the village watch in horror as they see people being mauled by the Grimm swarming into the village before running away in fear as the Grimm close in on them. Unfortunately most of the children that were running with Jaden ended up being picked off by the Grimm, until Jaden is the only person left as the Grimm have him backed into a corner. The moment a Grimm lunges at Jaden, the young boy is covered in a pale silver glow. Once the glow is gone, Jaden is now a dragon with pale blue scales and feathery wings and lets out a roar as the entire village and the Grimm inside the village are frozen over from a sudden blizzard as Jaden roars. After the entire village and all of the Grimm that entered it are frozen over, Jaden reverts back unconscious.
Some few hours later
A bullhead lands just outside the now frozen village as a rather robust huntsman walks out with a rather surprised look on his face.
????: My word what happened here?
Bullhead pilot: Thats what you are here to figure out
????: Very well, let's hope there's someone still alive in this village
The huntsman searches the village as he looks for at least a survivor for a while until he eventually finds the unconscious Jaden surrounded by frozen Grimm. He picks up the young boy and carries him back to the bullhead.
????: I found someone, they're alive but out cold, so for now let's head back to Vale
Pilot: Okay then, get them strapped in and we'll be off
In an unknown location
A screen now only shows one picture left with the others now being crosses out with the word Awakened underneath, before the man that has ordered these awakenings to happen is seen standing in front of what looks to be a statue of a massive dragon

????: Soon all seven dragons will be awakened, and once they clash again, you will be free my master
There we go, finally got another prologue done for this book, only one left to go, before getting into the actually story itself.
