jisung cackled at the boy dressed in nothing but a bathroom robe, hair wet from the shower and face drooping with water droplets. the blonde continued to laugh avidly, lips curved in a big smile. “that’s something I would even expect you to do and you did!”

hyunjin’s cheeks turned into a rosy hue, eyes casting down but holding a fierce glare that was slowly fading. maybe he shouldn't of told his friend about the incident that happened earlier that day with the boy and the door knowing very well he would get nothing else but laughter in return. but he couldn't help himself, he had been thinking about the embarrassing moment all day and he needed to tell someone, even if that someone was han jisung.

“it was really awkward.” he confessed, walking on the cool floor across their shared room. he stood before his bed, pulling his suitcase from the ground and plopping it on the covers. “the boy didn't seem… delighted about me or about what happened.”

“well, obviously.” jisung giggled, rolling his body to face the taller as he fished for his sweats in the luggage. “You don't expect him to be happy to see a stranger in front of his room. he probably thought you were a thief. “

“I'm no thief.” hyunjin murmured, gripping onto his white shirt and pulling it out of the luggage. he frowned when he couldn't find his sweatpants. “ugh. jiji, it was so embarrassing. I apologized and he gave me a smile filled with hatred— well, not really. but he did gave me a smile. but not a very genuine one.”

“how did this boy look like?.” jisung asked, not averting his eyes while his friend changed in front of him. “I suppose he was young, was he?.”

hyunjin huffed when he pulled on the grey sweats, not his usual ones that he would wear for bed, he felt weird in them. almost as if they grew bigger in size. but he couldn't find the black ones. he probably left them at home which was most likely. “yeah. he was, I think. his face was soft. but he looked mean.”

“what do you mean by ‘he looks soft’?.”

“I mean, he has soft features. his skin was a slightly darker tone, but it looks really moisturize and soft. his eye shape was a very pretty, with smooth edges. though I only met eye contact with him for like five seconds, they were chocolate orbs that seemed so alluring to me.” hyunjin explained with detail, not realizing how he was slowly drifting off from the present and trying to revive the moment he first saw the boy. “he was about the same height as me, maybe taller, maybe shorter. his hair was a soft red, hardly noticeable but it was for sure red, most probably wine. and… I can't seem to help thinking… I think I saw him somewhere…”

“somewhere eh?.” jisung questioned, absolutely astonished by how the older described a stranger specifically. he knew his friend was gay but not this gay. “like, in your dream or probably… I don't know… social media?.”

“no.” hyunjin clicked his tongue, snatching his bathroom robe he left on his bed and leaving the room to put it back in the restroom. when he entered once again, his eyes looked far away, deep in thought. “not in a dream… not in social media. recently though. maybe in a shop.”

“so you encounter this stranger once again.” jisung rolled his eyes, “so what? you met him again in an obviously awkward situation and now you will never see him again and you'll both move on with your lives. but knowing you, you'll probably—”

“what if he was one of our classmates back home?.”

“the chances of you running into an old classmate from school and remembering him three years later is highly doubtful.” jisung stated, pulling the covers over his head and let out a small, spent whine. “turn off the lights and drag your ass to sleep.”

hyunjin looked at his friend's figure, chewing thoughtfully on his bottom lip before stopping his train of thoughts. jisung was right. for the first time that month, anyways. what would be the odds of bumping into an old classmate in florida, three years later? even if he was a classmate, hyunjin would never remember his face, he had very bad memory.

he flicked the light switch off, putting them into darkness. he guided himself to his bed, staring blankly at nothing before turning around to the direction of his bed friend's. he let out a choked “jisung” in which a drowsy grunt was returned.

he pursed his lips together and let out nothing else from his mouth, hoping his friend would get the hint.  and he did, as expected.

the sound of the bed sheets being ruffled brought a wide smile on hyunjin's face. even though he could not see the blonde, he knew how the other looked.

“get in here.”

the taller scrambled on jisung's bed, pulling the covers over them as his legs tangled themselves with his friend. he let out a content sigh of relief, resting his head against the soft, cool pillow. he felt jisung's breath fanning over his neck and he hummed, bringing the smaller closer to his body for cuddles.

“hyunjin, you idiot.”

the ravenette giggled in the dark room, satisfied and letting his mind fall into oblivion in his head.
