"h-hyung?." hyunjin fumbled around with his jacket, readjusting the coat on his arm just before it slipped from his grasp. his most utter attention was on the screen of his phone, showing the face of the older that seemed to have frozen, staring right back him with unblinking eyes. airport wifi wasn't the best.

"hyung! shit—."

"hyunjin." jisung barked, glancing back at the taller with a hard gaze when the other collided with his back. "Patiently wait in those chairs over there while I speak with the flight attendant. we'll be boarding the plane in ten minutes, okay?."

hyunjin nodded, apologetically giving his friend a smile before sitting in the chairs not so far from where jisung stood, huffing out a bit when his aching legs finally had a moment of resting after standing and moving around for about an hour. his hyung's face was still frozen on the screen of his phone, with no sound or even connection coming through.

the boy nibbled on his lip before ending the call and prayed silently that his hyung wouldn't get mad at him for ending their chat so soon. It was really hard to talk to minho either ways, the place was packed and people weren't really going to keep their voice volume down for him to hear minho, especially when minho sounded half dead, probably sleep deprived from his work.

they could always chat after they arrive in paris, hyunjin thought but he wasn't so sure how long that would take. but according to jisung, it would take eight hours if the flight was nonstop but the flight could take longer, up to eleven hours. the time zones between paris and korea were at least eight hours apart, which meant once they arrive it'll most likely still be around noon and late night back with him. he wouldn't be able to speak to minho without waking him up.

he pursed his lips and sighed, leaning his head against the headrest of the seat and fluttering his eyes close. he just wonders how much longer must they keep on waiting? It's out of the question that he could not bear the sleepiness that's clouding his mind and ready to sweep him off.

jisung and hyunjin had both woken up at the same time with a mini heart attack, started by the loud blaring ringtones of their phones, reminding them that they had to pack and leave the hotel before five in the morning to catch the plane. he didn't even have time to take a quick shower or have a small snack. once they arrive at the airport, it was then they realized they were an hour early. they had already signed out from the hotel and couldn't head back to rest for a bit, so they were stranded in the air station for a dreadful amount of time.

when hyunjin opened his eyes, he stared right ahead, at the big windows that exposed the airfield to him, where planes prepared to take off and some barely landing. his shoulders relaxed, his breathing calm and steady until he saw a boy, more precisely the boy with red hair.

the ravenette sat up abruptly, and his heart leaped. It was undoubtedly him, again. but how? the last time he saw the redhead was on his second day in florida, when he mistook his door for the other. heat spread over his cheeks at the vivid, embarrassing memory. who could this stranger be? other than running into him that humiliating morning, hyunjin felt as if he met the boy. mayhaps the stranger reminded him of someone, but he was uncertain.

he looked away before the stranger turned towards him and caught him staring, looking down at the black screen of his phone, pretending his fingers and eyes were concentrated at something he was doing on his phone but the other definitely saw or felt him staring just like hyunjin was feeling his hard gaze on him even though he had his head casted down.

"hey, jin," jisung's voice brought him to look up and he stared wide-eyed at his friend that loomed over him, "let's go. they're ordering the passengers to board the plane. hurry so we could find two seats for us and away from any babies."

hyunjin nodded his head frantically, standing up from the chair and gripping onto his jacket with a hand and his phone with the other. finally. no more waiting.

the taller glanced back at where he last saw the redhead, eyebrows ceasing together when he found the place empty. no redhead. he shrugged, though he felt almost bothered by the fact that the stranger suddenly disappeared as soon as he spotted him. He found the redhead rather attractive, too bad he won't see him again.
