If I could fly,
I'd escape from the world,
To a place where only silence exists,
Where harmony would envelop my mind.
I know such a place doesn't exist,
But I can't stop searching.
Even without wings,
I'll go on foot.
Even if it takes a long time,
My soul won't let me give up.
I know I'll suffer,
But I can't come to terms
With the idea of there being no place for me.
I'll keep traveling,
In search of the answers that keep me awake at night.
I've decided that even if I can't fly,
I'll create my own path.
I'll choose what makes me happy.
Perhaps, I'll never find what I seek,
But I'm sure I'll never regret it
Because I know it was my choice.
I know I'll never get to fly,
That the sky is beyond my limits,
But even so, one day,
I know I'll climb a mountain so high
That I'll be able to touch the sky.
