In life, there are moments of profound sadness,
Our appearance suffocates us, it's a challenging mess.
We avoid going out, lose hope, it seem,
Our reflections in the mirror fuel self-esteem's extremes.
But where does this somber feeling stem from, we wonder?
This persistent doubt, this inner void down under.
No matter how hard we try, it's clear to see,
Authenticity, self-love, that's the answer to set us free.
Choosing clothes, applying makeup, all in vain,
For inner beauty is the real lesson, let's refrain.
Let's break through this sadness, confront the pain,
By finding self-acceptance, we'll rise above the mirror's bane.
