A young boy ran into his older sister's room with a water bottle in hand. He carefully climbed on top his older sibling but was not careful enough because the teenage girl started to gain consciousness.
She opened her eyes to see her younger brother, Daichi, sitting on top of her. "Daichi, what were you about to do?" She said with a sturn look.
"Um, I was gonna..." Daichi's voice faded out. "Sorry, I didn't quite hear that. Can you repeat it?" (Y/N) asked.
"I was gonna dump water on you to wake you up." He admitted. "I'm gonna give you a five second head start. One."
"Wait! Five seconds can't take me anywhere! Especially with these small feet!" He shouted but (Y/N) kept counting. "Two."
Daichi tried to jump off the bed but his foot tripped over (Y/N)'s leg and he ended up face planting on to the floor. "Oh God! Daichi are you OK!?" (Y/N) asked as she ran out of bed.
"Owie." Was all Daichi said when he got up. "You sure can take a lot of damage." (Y/N) said, astonished by how Daichi didn't go into a crying fit after falling.
"Pff, this is nothing compared to when I fell off the monkey bars." Daichi said as he dusted himself off. "Yeah, yeah. Now get out of my room."

(Y/N) walked into the kitchen after changing into more proper clothes. Her father and little brother were sitting at the table, eating breakfast while one of the them also read the newspaper.
"Daichi, why are you reading the newspaper?" (Y/N) questioned as she sat down that the table. "He just was curious on why I read it." (Y/N)'s father responded.
Daichi put the newspaper down. "Yeah and I still don't know why you read this. It's so booring."
"So you're going out with some friends tonight, (Y/N)?" (Y/N)'s father asked. She nodded in response. "That is correct."
"Way to shut down a conversation, Sis." Daichi said, finishing up his food. "I'm sorry." She apologized.
"Haha, no need to apologize but don't stay out to late, tomorrow you got school and I get back to work."
"Yes, yes. I know." She said, sadly. There was a moment of silence before (Y/N)'s father spoke up.
"Well, today's children's day so I got you both presents to celebrate." The father announced while getting up to go get the presents.
"Yay!!" The young boy ran towards his father. "But I'm not a child anymore." (Y/N) stated.
"I know but I felt bad for leaving you with Daichi for so long and not giving you some kind of reward." He explained.
"Though Daichi can be a hassle sometimes that doesn't mean you have to reward me."
"Come on, let me a good father alright." The father gave Daichi and (Y/N) bags containing the gifts. Daichi didn't hesitate to quickly dig into the bag.
"Sis, look! It's a toy car. Thank you, Dad!" Daichi immediately started to play with red toy car. "Sis, what did you get?"
"Huh? Oh, well..." (Y/N) reached into the bag and took out a pair of black shoes. "Shoes?" Daichi tilted his head to the side.
"They're not any old shoes. When you click your heels together while having that on, they'll turn into roller skates."
(Y/N)'s father said."That's so cool." Daichi said with stars in his eyes. "...." (Y/N) didn't say anything. (Y/N)'s father gave her a concerned look. "Is everything alright, (Y/N)?"
