Lapis POV
After I made it to the library I ended up falling asleep. Yeah I know, real professional. Well you know what? I don't care. Anyway I was awoken, very rudely might I add, by a very loud shriek. "What the hell do you want Jasper?" I heard one voice say. 'Wait Jasper? Isn't that the girl who beat up Peri?' "Now you listen hear, runt! You stay away from that Lazuli girl! She will be mine!" With that I shot up out of the chair to stand face to face with Jasper, once again, pinning Peridot to the wall. "Godamnit, you brute let her go!" I scream as I try to pry Jaspers hands from Peri. And with that she lets Peridot go and proceeded to drag me away. As she did I see Peridot desperately try to catch up but to no avail. Just as we're about to hit the front door to the library the librarian comes in and sees Jasper clutching to the collar of my shirt. "MS JONES! PUT HER DOWN THIS INSTANT!" Jasper looked wide eyed at the librarian, and did as she was told. "Now, to the principals office. Now." She said calmly. Jasper, quite quickly might I add, walked off, but not before turning around and mouthing 'This isn't over Runt' to Peridot.
Peridot POV
As I wheeled towards Lapis I saw her thanking the librarian. "Thank you, Ms...." "Opal" "Wait, don't I know you?" I butted in. "Peridot?" "Yes?" "I'm Amethyst's Cousin!" 'Oh yeah' I thought to myself. "Oh, yeah. Sorry. Anyway, thanks for the rescue." She nodded then excused herself to go deal with Jasper. I turn to Lapis, "Hey you wanna go? I can get Pearl to grab our work. I'll send her your schedule." "Sure Peri" We then proceed to go to the office to sign out. As we do I see Jasper walk in. I see her face fill with anger once she saw me and Lapis leaving. As I shake off a unnerving feeling we both leave.
