Ashton kept his head up as he walked the familiar building coming in to view. It turns out Ashton did need Lisa's number she did become of assistance again. He'd let some steam off if you know what I mean, Lisa seemed thrilled at the fact that Ashton had phoned up demanding to meet her behind the bar downtown she had looked as cheap and tacky as before but Ashton didn't care he got what he wanted and was satisfied.

Pulling out his phone from his pocket he pressed the lock button the screen lighting up. His eyes scanned across it quickly but narrowed slightly when he saw that the only message he had was from the phone company telling him his new payment was due.

No messages from the boys asking if he was ok or telling him to hurry back.

"Bastards" Ashton muttered his fairly decent mood dropping and going completely. He didn't so much as look at the two men opening the door for him let alone thank them but they where use to that it was Ashton after all. Shoving his phone back in his pocket he knocked past people in the lobby trying to find his way to the lifts that would take him to his floor.

Opening the door he turned round noticing a girl struggling with her bags across the lobby, her brown hair was infront of her face as she held the heavy bags in her hand. She stumbled over a little getting to the lift Ashton was in just before it went. Her eyebrows furrowed together as she tried to jag the bag through the door but it was caught to something making her turn a bright red as people turned to look at her. Ashton never normally felt compassion but seeing the younger girl struggle pulled a little at his heart strings.

Instead of standing back and waiting for the doors to close Ashton stepped foward leaning across to help the girl by taking one of her bags in the process.

He noticed how her eyes widen slightly almost as if she recognised who he was but he had no clue who the girl standing infront of him claimed to be. Not that she had said anything yet, her eyes scanned across Ashton flickering from his face to his hands then to his neck. She made a 'oh' shape with her lips at what she saw.

"Thanks Ashton" the girl spoke for the first time her accent hitting his ears right away, Ashton's mind clouded with confusion how did she know his name?

"You're welcome" Ashton stated handing the bag back his spurt of well being only being short. The girl fumbled with her hands as Ashton left it on the floor not bothering to ask what floor she needed as he clicked the button he desired.

"I'm Ann by the way" she smiled offering one of her hands that was pretty much taken up by bags.

"And I don't care" Ashton spat rolling his eyes at the shorter girl. Finally joining the dots together as to who she was. She nodded in response not really knowing how to reply to the boys bluntness.

"So-" she started trying to make light conversation with the bluntest asshole in town, she gulped a little at the coldness in Ashton's eyes "-Michael tells me you like music" she finished smiling hopefully. Maybe the two would have something in common.

"Yup" Ashton replied no kindness or meaning in his voice. He looked in the mirror on the far side of the elevator running his hand through his hair biting his lip as he did so completely disregarding the fact that the so called Ann girl was in there with him. His eyes flickered to her reflection noticing the way she was looking at him her eyes following the movements of his own.

"Can you not" Ashton spoke his voice holding a hint of smugness as he turned back to face Ann taking a step back "quit staring at me" he said again looking at the girl across from him with disgust his lip curling up a bit as he did so. He didn't mind people checking him out by all means go ahead, but this girl anyone just not this girl.
