When you woke, it was early in the morning and still dark outside. Your eyes were wide open and you knew you wouldn't be able to fall asleep again, so you sat up. There was a quiet mumbling in the background that must have been Hoseok talking in his sleep. You paid him little attention as you got out of bed and changed into a pair of shorts and a T-shirt in the closet.
If you couldn't sleep, you might as well run.
You crept out of the house and into the cold morning, ready to get some exercise and explore a bit. It was biting at every part of your exposed body so you began to run right away, making a mental note to remember everything you passed so that you could make your way back.
Once you were away from the cabin, the darkness surrounded you like a blanket. With music pounding in your ears through your earbuds, you made your way into the large forest before you. The trees were dark and brooding but beautiful in the moonlight.
There was just enough light to not trip over branches. As you ran, your mind continually drifted back to your newfound roommate. However annoyed you were at first, he seemed nice enough. He also had a good sense of style, you couldn't deny that. Not to mention his jawline.
You jogged to a halt, catching your breath. You weren't cold anymore, your blood was coursing hot through your veins now that you had run for a bit. You could tell that your cheeks were heated and rosy red. You felt sufficiently exercised and now it was time to head back.
You looked around, suddenly realizing that you were a bit disoriented and didn't quite know which way was the cabin. You took out your phone and paused the music, turning and looking at the dark trees surrounding you. Flicking your head towards every little sound, a quiet panic was rising inside you. You were lost in an unfamiliar forest.
The heat you had from running was beginning to fade and the cold once again presented itself to you, in the form of a biting wind. You shivered and rubbed your arms, trying desperately to keep warm. Everything was becoming a bit overwhelming to you.
And just as you thought that things couldn't possibly get worse, you heard a crack of thunder in the distance and it began to rain.
It's raining here too. Well, it was. Now it's snowing.
Sorry I didn't put out a chapter yesterday, I only wrote half of it so I couldn't.Let's work hard today ✊
