Alexandra's P.O.V.
It was the night before Wednesday and I was really excited to meet a new member of Penelope's family I decided to wear some overalls and some vans and i got all my makeup ready too for the next day.
The next day i woke up early and took a shower and put on all my makeup and then I changed into my clothes I had some breakfast and my mom was the only other one up because it was around 11:40 and my sister always slept in ecspcially in the summer when she didn't have to do much after a while when I packed all my stuff my mom drove me to Ava's house and they were already in the car I hopped inside and said good afternoon to everyone and I swear I saw Ava blush but she immediately looked away I couldn't tell if she was catching feelings for me or what but I think she just likes being friends with me I'm not gonna make that big of a deal about it I'm definitely sure it's nothing because even if she did like me well it would suck because I don't feel the same way but I'm really sure that's not the case anyways I say " hey Ava how've you been since we last went to the park?" " pretty good my phone has been blowing up from texts from my brother says he 'can't wait' to see me" she laughs in a sarcastic way and I just smile Ava then she connects her phone to the car with the Aux cord she asks "what do you wanna play" I just shrug she decides to play a song by Noah Cyrus called good cry it's really sad and she notices that I get sad so she changes it to something else she asks "are you okay?" I just shrug and go to sleep for the rest of the car ride I wake to to find a boy much taller then me with curly black hair Sitting next to me he finds me awake and says "hey sleepyhead" I smile and I notice that he smiles back dimples and all the sun hits right on his beautiful brown eyes it's really quite the sight, he says "what's your name? My sister is also sleeping she didn't even introduce you to me I don't even know what kind of person she is sometimes" I say "oh it's fine my name is Alexandra" " oh that's nice, nice to meet you I'm Colton" " I heard" then we shake hands I make small talk with him the rest of the way and I can't believe I'm saying this but he's really cute, cuter than I thought he was considering the way that Ava talks about him to me sometimes and he's really nice to I really wanna get to know him more for sure. When we finally get downtown we eat at a restaurant and then Colton asks "wanna take a picture with me sleepyhead?" There's always a nickname for some people just because of one little thing that you do, he keeps saying that it's not "perfect" we give up after what seems like the twentieth time and we finish eating around this time it's like 6:00pm so Penelope's family drives me home Colton says he wants to walk me to my door I almost say it's no big deal but then I immediately change my mind "goodnight and thanks" I say " no problem sleepyhead" he says he gives me hug and waves goodbye he smells really good and I blush till I go to my room my mom says "how was it? how is Colton?" "Great he's really nice I really like him" I say I cover my face to cover my blushing thankfully she doesn't notice and I go to my room only thinking about him for some reason I don't know why I feel this way I know he's to old for me but I just guess I can't I guess I don't know my feelings anymore.
