Pacifica POV
It's the start of summer and so far there nothing to do. We would go to some expensive and amazing place but ever since Dad sold the old mansion, we had to scale things down significantly. But what we have now, I never realized how much I took it for granted. Thanks, Dipper.
Now that it's the start of summer, I don't have to worry about school for awhile. Which means, I can hang out with my friends. Or at least my summer friends. Like I said before, Dad sold the mansion but we lost a relatively good rep and now I lost my popularity. There still are good people here, though.
For the past few months I've been hanging out with Wendy Corduroy. She's friends with Dipper and Mabel so I figured why not hang with her? Besides, it's not all bad. I actually met someone named Phillip Benson.
He's a really great guy, all things. I wasn't desperate for someone and I still have dignity, thank you. The point being that we're together, I'm gonna hang with Wendy and that's that.
Since there's nothing to do around here and it's summer, I figured I could visit Wendy. Hence why I mentioned it. Assuming she wasn't busy of course. I pulled out my phone and contacted her.
After a few rings, she finally answered.
"Hello?"
"Hey, Wendy!"
"Oh hey, Paz. How you doing?"
"Good. Good, can't complain. Hey, you wanna hang? Since, y'know, it's summer."
"Sure, I'm actually about to head to the Shack."
"The Mystery Shack?"
"Is there any other around here? Besides Old Man McGucket."
"Fair enough. So we'll meet up there?"
"Yeah, we will. See ya then, Paz."
"Laters."
And then, I hung up. Well I guess it's settled, I'm meeting Wendy and the anyone else at the Shack. Like I said, there's still good people in Gravity Falls. And also so money of ours. I did say we lost some things but not all of them.
Since we're in the place, I might as well tell you what's happened since the last summer. In our new mansion, it's like a scaled down version of a mansion and we don't have as much as we did before but it does its job. I mean, it IS a house, does it matter the size, how many stairs or floors there are? No, it just holds the amount of people living there with a reasonable amount of space.
I went downstairs and was met by my parents for breakfast. From what I could smell in the kitchen, smells like pancakes. Yay!
Things have been pretty mixed since Weird-Mageddon. One day he's ok with me the next he's belittling me. I guess dads can't let go of grudges. Or maybe it's just mine.
"Hello, daughter."
"Hey, Dad."
"Where are you going?"
I raised an eyebrow at him. This was something... odd to say the least. He was always a bit of prick when it came to whatever I did basically. But this was different. He was calm and collected, not in the usual snobby manner.
"Just going to hang with some friends at the Mystery Shack. Wendy, Soos, those guys."
He furrowed his brows at me. As if he were thinking pensively about something. His suspensions perhaps, he was always paranoid about our rep. Hopefully he learned it doesn't matter now.
"Hmm... Ok then. Carry on. Have fun." He said as he shrugged and moved for me to get through the stairs.
"And tell the Pines I said hi." He shouted for the stairs.
