Chapter 4: Preparing For The Party

Pacifica's POV

Dipper's reaction was priceless to Phil! I actually had to hold in my laughter; It's just that funny. Dipper opened his mouth to say something before Mayor Cutebiker stood on the podium and spoke to the crowd.

"Hello everyone! I'm proud to welcome back the Pines Twins back to Gravity Falls!"

The crowd went wild and cheered at their arrival. Others also clapped and took pics of them. Well when in Rome...

"Hey, Phil, let's take a picture!"

"Um, ok?" What's wrong with him. He's been acting odd since I told him about Dipper. Jealous much?

I walked over to them and took a picture with them. The three of us smiled for the camera with the correct filter on for once.

"I would like to introduce both Stanley and Stanford Pines to the stand." Mayor Cutebiker began to clap as the rest of the crowd followed up. The Stans both came up and stood up on the podium. Stanley was the first to go up.

"First off, I would like to thank all of you to coming to this and so great to see you kids again."

The crowd began to cheer again as he spoke of them again. Once the cheering died down Stan started to talk again.

"To celebrate their return, Sixer and I decided to have a party at the Shack. And we'd like for you to come."

The crowd cheered even louder than last time. There was even a bit of whooping or something like that. Probably one of Wendy's friends. Even though I'm changing as a person, I could never get used to that. Oh well.

As Stan mentioned a party going on in The Shack, Ford shifted uncomfortably. Guess he isn't good at social events.

"And not only will Soos be the DJ at the party but we will also have a band play at the party."

I began to get real giddy at that. We've been practicing for months and now we finally got a gig! Finally a chance to play in front of a crowd.

"The upcoming band The Tombstones are having their first gig at the Shack. Come by to see their first live appearance!"

This is finally happening. I began to feel a mixture of happiness and fear.

"Guess we better head to the Shack to practice soon."

Nodding in agreement, I walked hand in hand with Phillip to the van. Robbie grabbed his guitar and got the rest of the equipment. We got in Thompson's van and drove off the Shack.

At the Shack...

We made it the place and were greeted by Soos. As I stepped they both gave me a smile. I ran up to them and gave him a hug.

"Pacifica!"

"Hey, Soos! It's always great to see you guys."

As I hung out with Wendy, I actually got to know the him as well as other people of the Shack. Turns out we both have a pretty high intelligence and binge watch Duckdective like I do.

"So you guys are ready to play tonight?"

"Yep. And we got a full playlist today."

We went to the back and found a stage constructed for us. It was enough to hold all of us and a few amps. The outdoors also had a few banners as well as more wood.

"Hey, why is there extra wooden planks?"

"Just in case some of the stage breaks, we can repair. I've been known for being a pretty great repair man. I even got my own service."
