Malika looked inside the building she was standing out off by the window, perched on a branch from a tree close to it. There, a little group of adolescents formed a circle while a man talked. The group was a weird mix of different kind of people. A plain-looking  girl was standing next to a pink haired boy, which was standing next to a weird guy in a cape, which was himself next to a pretty girl with purple hair and an almighty look on her face and it went on, each student standing next to a weirder person than the other but the one thing they had in common was the apprehension they all wore on their faces. The young demon king of logic knew  that Rin was somewhere in the circle of teens but she didn't know which student he actually was since she was too far from them to be able to tell exactly which smell came from which student. She could have tried to guess and she would probably have been right but she didn't want to spoil the surprise. She decided that she wanted to investigate because it would be even more fun. Since watching the odd-looking teacher talking wasn't much fun, she decided to start her investigation but before she could even jump down from the tree she was in to go look at the situation a bit closer in her cat form, a movement inside the classroom caught her attention. She couldn't quite make it out since leaves were blocking her view but she could've sworn the teacher just took out a knife out of his pocket and was about to cut himself before his students. Sure enough, not long after that, the sweet familiar scent of blood reached her nose. That's when Malika understood that the shady looking man was trying to invoke a demon. Like she had predicted, a demon soon appeared in the middle pf the circle formed by the students. The teacher let the intimidating demon walk around the circle of teenagers, growling, scaring the children close to it. He banished it some time after and handed contracts to each students while saying something to them which she couldn't hear and wasn't interested in hearing. It was probably some pretty boring stuff about how to summon a demon which even if she didn't know how to do, she would never need to know anyway. She looked at the children at the children. Some looked nervous, other confidant enough. Some others or more precisely one of them looked very excited. A big  goofy grin stuck to his face and his eyes wide, he looked  eagerly at the almighty looking girl who was handling the knife to summon her demon. Malika couldn't help but to guess who her brother was. Looking at the serious teen with a mohawk she started thinking. Demons always looked younger than their age. Agreed, most of them were thousands and billions of years old and they looked to be twelve but that wasn't the point. Demon kings were all incredibly old except for her that was just 2 564 years old and Rin which was still a new-born in demon years with his 15 years of existence but the way it worked was that they aged normally for a while and they all stopped aging after 10 or 20 years or so. And even for the age they stayed eternally at, they looked young. For example, Malika stopped aging at eighteen years old (you can tell when a demon stopped aging when their shape shifting abilities manifest but for Malika it was a little different since she always could change her form to any that she desired so they just guessed it was at about that time that her growth halted) but she still looked like she could be around fifteen. So all that meant that the strong and serious looking guy that looked almost eighteen couldn't  be her brother since he was supposed to only have lived through fifteen Assiah years  and therefore wouldn't look so old. She started to observe the next boy in view. It  was the excited looking guy from earlier, First, he certainly looked the part, he had dark blue hair and bright eyes of the clearest blue. Then there was the sword he carried around with even for the group activity. The young demon girl had heard her brother report to his father once that the boy's powers were trapped inside a sword much like that one. She came to one conclusion: the goofy looking kid was in fact her brother Rin, she was certain of it. The girl who had the knife pricked her finger and put a bit of her blood on her contract that she was holding. She then muttered a few words and two fox demons appeared. The girl looked at them a smirk on her face, looking very pleased. Her ponytails waved when she handed the knife to the next person in the circle to try: A very shy looking girl. With her blond hair and wide eyes, she somewhat looked like a scared doll. She carfully pricked her finger, every bone of her body trembling. Malika snickered when she saw the girl stiffen trying to make a demon appear. A big smile erupted on her face when one did. A baby greenman appeared just before her red face. Malika smirked. Of course it would be one of Amaimon's kin! When the young demon king of logic was bored, the girl sometimes liked to provoke the earth king by reminding him of that cruel notion: Amaimon was weak... Or, at least he was for a demon king. He was the weaker of the nine and that made taunting him that much more entertaining. Rin then took the knife or at least who she thought Rin was. She was 95% sure that she was right  but her theory had yet to be proven. The boy was holding the blade to his finger not quite hard enough to pierce his skin but ready to do it at the first sign from his teacher to proceed. Despite the threat of pain coming from the blade he was holding, the blue haired boy still had the same goofy smile up on face. Despite the enthusiasm of his student, the teacher looked worried. His brows furrowed and a dark look in his eyes, the man looked about to deny the boy the chance to try invoking a demon but Malika would have none of that. She wanted to see her supposed half demon brother try invoking a demon! The whole rest of the class had been so boring and now that man wanted to refuse her the most amusing part of the whole activity? She invaded his head and for a second she erased the rational part of the man. The part that told him what to do and what not to do. What made the most sense to say. The part that told him that letting the child of satan try to invoke a demon was totally illogical. Without an other thought the man nodded to the teen and the boy, too excited, tripped and cut himself all over his arm. The blood flooded to the floor and landed on the big invoking circle that was drawn on the ground. Immediately after that occurred, a blue light exploded in the room and a paw submerged from the circle. It looked like it could belong to a cat but only if it was the size of a house. The cat was so big that it couldn't even come through the summoning circle and only a paw could go through since the contract employed wasn't nearly powerful enough to directly transport it into Assiah. The paw swept through the air and sent a handful of teens through the room. Their ascension was cut off short by a wall and they landed painfully on the ground at the other end of the classroom where they were standing before. The boy which Malika now knew for certain was her brother had a panicked look on his face. You could quite correctly assume the thoughts going through his head at moment. It probably read like: '' Shit! I f£&$ed up again! WHAT DO I DO????''  The teacher ran up to the circle and quickly erased a part of it and the paw disapeared in a beam of blue light. Rin still had a shocked looked on his face and when the teacher rushed to the boy to shake him by his shoulders and scream at him never to do that again it certainly didn't help. The man had a crazy gleam in his eyes and was screaming loudly at the poor stunned boy which was standing there, not doing anything, still processing what had happened. The other students were starting to get up slowly when Rin's, younger brother, Yukio barged into the room, followed more calmly by Malika's older brother Samael or as they all called him: Mephisto. The older demon assessed the situation while the young exorcist asked what had happened to the teacher and immediately started to scold his brother for being so foolish. As the two started to take control of the situation, Malika understood that the fun was over. She decided to go looking for her younger brother's place while the exorcists started to care for their student's injuries. She turned around and started looking smelling the air for a place that had a more prominent scent of her brother.
