Every morning, when Samael woke up, he would have the same ritual. First he would "wake up". (demon kings didn't really need to sleep but Samael liked to imitate the humans he so admired) The first thing he would see every day were the pink silky sailor moon themed curtains of his baldaquin bed. Then, he would get up to have breakfast which constituted of ramen noodles and of a coffee to which he added way to much sugar. Then he would go back to occupying his fonctions... no one really knew of what they constituted of but it seemed to be really important to the demon king and everybody knew better then to disturb him while he was working. Everybody except one person it seemed as a loud noise interrupted the specific routine of the eccentric principal.

Rin came into the room with a bang as he kicked the door open. "MEPHISTO!" He angrily shouted. "Yes, Mr. Okumura? What, if I may ask, was so important that you decided that you could barge into my office without previously informing me of your visit?" Mephisto said, not even looking up from his paperwork. Rin froze for a second, he didn't really expect Mephisto to play the innocent card though he guessed he probably should have. For a second, the young half demon just stood there, a surprised look on his face. It didn't take long, though for him to become angry again.

"What the f#%k did you think you were doing back in the woods!?" He shouted. This time, the principal did make the effort to look up to the rude student that had disturbed his peace and quiet to look him in the eyes, a bored look in his eyes. "I am not sure of what you are referring to." Mephisto replied remaining calm. "THE HELL YOU DONT!!" "I can very well see that you are upset but I certainly don't know what you are talking about." The demon king reiterated. Rin said nothing. He only tighten his fists a dark expression on his face. "Now why don't you tell me what as you so upset?"

"You! Yesterday! You poofed out a demon I was chasing! One moment it was there and the other, no hobgoblin in sight!" The student said. Mephisto only looked surprised for a second, he lifted one of his brows, the information seeming to have peeked his interest. "Is that so? It does seem peculiar though I do not have any memory of doing this. You are saying that you saw me rescuing a demon from exorcising?" Rin crossed his arms. "Well I didn't see you per say... But you are the only one that I ever saw could make things appear and disappear in smoke..."
Mephisto quickly turned his head to look at the boy, a dramatic air on his face. "And therefore that makes me guilty!? Oh! How unfair this trial is!" He said, the back of his hand posed on his forehead frozen in a dramatic position.

"Well, it has to be you who else could....?" Rin started, puzzled. "Well, I'll have you know that I am not the only high ranking demon in Assiah. Now, I would very much like to go back to my papers. Goodbye mr. Okumura!" And with that, Rin was pushed out of the principal's office and the door slammed at his face. "Damn it!"

As the door closed on the young offspring of Satan, a green hamster popped out of one of the many drawers of the demon king of time's desk in an explosion of candy wrappers. Understanding that his mysterious paper work would have to wait for now the purple haired demon looked down with a sigh. "Was that you Amaimon?" Samael asked "I know that you can be quite protective of your kin, especially when the exorcists attack them in their own forests." The hamster looked up to the other demon with a blank look but didn't talk.. The headmaster narrowed his eyes angrily at his animal shaped brother. "Oh, acting as a real hamster for once I see?" The older demon said in a innocent tone that wouldn't fool anybody as anger still filled his eyes. " Fine! If you are to be a true hamster, I should probably find you a cage, shouldn't I?... One from which you would be unable to escape..." The demon kind continued starring down at the green animal. A touch of fear passed quickly through the animal's eyes.

"It wasn't me brother." The hamster said with an unemotional voice. The headmaster narrowed his eyes even further as he looked down at his brother. After a while he looked away, the green hamster taking advantage of his brother's inattention to escape who knows where, very far from where the headmaster was. Samael didn't react to his younger brother's escape, he was starring out the window, a dark look on his face, his mind taking him very far from where he was currently sitting.

Hello...
First, I'm sorry. If someone is still reading this and you haven't given up on me then... yeah well thanks I don't deserve you... I started this story with no idea of what I would do with it and I still don't exactly know what will happen exactly. The reason I haven't updated is that I was not feeling very well this year... My grades fell and I quite my job and I was in a bad place. The point is I'm sorry, I'll try to do better even though I probably won't because I'm pretty much hopeless... so heum yeah sorry...
