Braelynn
I glared holes into the back of Kai, clenching the potion bottle in my hand. In her arms was another human female she had sucked dry. I've spent the last five hours convincing Kai to let me make her dinner and she agreed.
"Useful servants like you make great company." she had said. Oh I'm so ready to get rid of this bitch. Who knew this is Kaia's dark part of her heart. All I need to do is slip this potion in her food or drink. But just thinking about her loosing her memory loss makes me feel guilty.
When she wakes up and forgets everyone, about me, and where she is, she might revert back to the scared Kaia. The one that tried to runaway from me. I know that I can't lie to her but... she'll be confused and scared. However, it has to be done.
Sighing, I pasted a fake smile on my face, turning towards Kai. "What would you like to eat first?" I asked, putting down many dishes in front of her. Kai scowled at me before picking the spaghetti.
"Good choice. Let me put some cheese on that." Kai glared at me.
"Why would I need cheese on spaghetti?"
"Cheese is good for your bones," I said. "It also taste nice on spaghetti."
"Fine," she rolled her eyes and licked her lips. "Bring me this cheese on spaghetti." I nodded and took the plate of spaghetti and grabbed the cheese. Quickly as I could, spreading the potion into the cheese and spaghetti. Hopefully the potion doesn't taste like anything.
"Here you go." Placing the food in front of Kai, I stepped back and watched as she lifted her fork and ate. In the corner of my eye I saw Riah by the door, biting her lip. She too was hoping that Kaia came back.
"W-What is... I feel tingly..." I furrowed my brows. Suddenly she glares at me, her eyes switching between red and her normal eye colour. "You bitch..." She hissed. This Was this the way the potion was suppose to work? Suddenly her eyes rolled back and she was falling off her chair. In a flash, I caught her before she could make a sudden face plant to the ground. She seemed to be breathing normally so, that had to be a good sign, right? I caressed her cheek, and lifted her up. I guess its a waiting game now.
"Brae?" Riah mumbles.
"Hmm?" I hum, caress my beloveds hair.
"What are we going to do about her family?" My eyes shoot to my sister.
"What?"
"She's gonna go ballistic if they aren't safe," I bite my lip and look down at my angel.
"Bring them here," I say, kissing Kaias temple. Gosh. This girl has changed me in the matter of weeks. I would never have so many mortals in my home. Nonetheless, mortals that relate to someone I love. Kaia, you have changed my bloody heart.
