The journey, to say the least, was not comfortable. As promised we agreed to meet with the king of Acirema.

While we are away, Riah promised to finish all the wedding preparations so when we got back, all I had to do was pick my wedding dress and I could get married. In a daze, I'm didn't realise the car had come to a stop. My eyes widened at the view in front of me. Large golden gates circled the large palace. I hadn't seen anything but trees for hours! "Oh wow!" I breathed, my face practically sticking out the window. The guards who were on patrol looked at me weirdly before opening the gates. I grinned sheepishly, putting my head back inside the car.

"Kaia? Why was your head out the window?" I blushed.

"Well Acirema is quite beautiful. Like, golden gates! Why dont we have golden gates at the palace entrance? We have boring black ones. Is it because we're vampires? Seriously, we aren't the typical "doom and gloom" vampire," I scoff, crossing my arms. Braelynn looks at me, quite amused. Her eyes twinkling with delight.

"If you wish for change, then change it shall be," I smile softly and take her hand.

"Sorry. I don't want to be selfish or anything. Tell me if I over step," Braelynn rolls her eyes, grinning at me as she leans in, her nose touching mine.

"Your my soon to be wife, my mate and my perfect woman, whatever you want I shall grant you," I kiss her softly before leaning away. In our love filled gaze, a cough interrupted us. I scowled at the person before coming to a halt. Shit! I think that's the king... ah fuck.

Braelynn steps out of the car and lends me a hand. I take it, leaning into her as I exit. A blush now adorned my pale cheeks. "Queen Braelynn of Ailartsua and her mate, welcome to my Kingdom." The man says. I take a moment to look over the werewolf king, my eyes widening at the size of this man. He has to be at least 7 foot! And man! He's full of muscle. I'd hate to see how his wife fairs after a nightly session in the bedroom.

I swallow at his harden gaze, and give him a sweet smile. Bowing my head a little, I greet him, "It's a pleasure to meet you King Drake," Braelynn squeezes my hand and I return the gesture.

"Well, thank you for coming on short notice," he says, gesturing towards the palace doors. We follow behind, the golden gates shutting behind us.

"We cannot stay long. We are to married by Friday," My eyes widened and I turn to Braelynn in question. She smiles softly. "I've moved the date. I can't wait to be married to you, Kaia." I smile lovingly at my mate.

"Then we shall be married then," a groan from the king stops us from being any more intimate.

"Geez Brae, can you guys be anymore horny? Seriously, no horny dogs in my house thank you," I raise a brow at him.

"Yet your a dog?" I question. Braelynn barks a laugh, kissing my cheek.

"Good one my love!" King Drake however does not look impressed.

"Right, and I'm the one not emitting my lust for one another for others to smell?" He says, crinkling his nose up before looking up the stairs. A beautiful women, with angelic features carries a little girl in her arms. A bright smile on both their faces. The kings face turns from sour to a thirsty puppy. I giggle. Now who's emitting his lust?

"Braelynn dear! It's so good to see you!" The women beams brightly, putting the little girl down into her tiny feet. I cooed as she clung to her mother's skirt, her thumb placed in her mouth. Braelynn enveloped the women with a hug. I'm assuming this is the Queen.

"It's been a long time. About 4 centuries no?" My eyes widen. She's been alive for that long!? I narrowed my eyes on Braelynn. I'm sure to have a word with her later. I went to speak up and announce my presence but I was pounced on. I fell into my butt, a little brown wolf cub sat in my lap. My eyes widened as it started licking my face. I giggle loudly, holding the pup.
