A faint yellow gleam from the street light standing alone in the courtyard filled the small untidy room on the fourth floor of a four-storied old building. Two girls were fast asleep in their beds in the small room.
A figure walked past and stood in front of one of the sleeping girl. Her crinkly and disheveled hair was pulled down covering her face like a veil. She reached out and slowly shook the sleeping girl.
"Wake up."
The girl turned in her sleep.
"Wake up."
"Huh, what?" The girl slowly rose from her dreams. Alicia was not pleased to be woken up from her slumber in the middle of the night. "What do you want?"
Alicia rubbed the remainders of sleep from her eyes and looked up. Her eyes shot wide open. A pale figure stood in front of her, staring through a layer of thick, unruly strands of hair.
"Stay away from me!" she screamed and floundered to the other side of the bed. Before Alicia realized what was happening, she reached the other end of the bed. For a split second, her body was suspended in the air and then hit the floor with a loud thud.
"Ah," she gave a low cry.
"What do you want?" Alicia's face was contorted with pain.
"I want to pee," said the figure in a hoarse voice.

''Do you remember any of this?'' I turned to Daisy. Tina was laughing hysterically. We were sitting in Tina's dorm reminiscing our sophomore days when we shared a dorm a year and a half ago. I was recalling the incident of how Daisy used to wake me up at night to accompany her to the toilet. Tina was rolling on the floor with laughter on hearing the story.
Daisy shook her head in disbelief and embarrassment. "No, I don't remember anything."
"So you don't remember scaring me twice that night?"
Daisy shook her head again.
''Well thank God we have our single dorms now," Tina managed to say between her laughs.

"Wake up."
"Who is it?" I asked in a sleepy voice.
"It's me, Daisy." I could hear a small distant voice. It seemed urgent.
"Uh, wait. "
"Please wake up. I need your help."
I was jolted awake from my sleep.
"Hi, darling... "Someone else was standing near my bed. It was a girl, a lot younger than me, wrapped in all white. She was wearing a white frock, white socks with white shoes.
"Who are you? I was alarmed.
"You took your time to remember me....."
"How did you get inside?" I looked at my locked door.
"Well you had called for me." she climbed my bed. "You did take my name thrice." She smirked and my eyes grew wider with fear.

''Let me get my slippers,'' I replied and stretched my hands to switch on the lights.
As soon as the room brightened, I noticed Daisy was nowhere to be seen. I ran outside and looked around. The corridor was empty.
Where could she have gone so soon? I wondered
The toilet was at the end of the corridor about four rooms away from ours. I walked down the corridor to the toilet and called out her name.
"Daisy? Are you in here?"
No response.
All I could hear was the chirping of the grasshoppers in the courtyard and the swarming noise of the moths on the tube lights. I checked every cubicle for her when I heard something from one of the cubicles.
So she is in there, I thought, and stood in front of that cubicle. While she was there, I decided to check myself in the mirror.
The pain was surfacing. I had scratched my elbow from the fall. My back was also aching a bit. I laughed at the incident and suddenly caught my face in the mirror.
"Geez, I can make for a good Bloody Mary." My hair was a mess and I was wearing a white shirt and matching PJs. I was staring at myself when a thought crossed my mind.
"Will she really come if I call you her name three times?'' I was very tempted to try it out. I was lost in my thoughts and didn't notice that someone was standing beside me.
I turned around and screamed.
''Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary. Oh, God, please spare me. Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God."
Curled on the floor, eyes squeezed shut, I was begging Bloody Mary not to hurt me.
''Alicia, I have peed." A similar voice hit my ears. When I looked up, Daisy was nowhere to be seen.
The end. An unexpected twist in the end. This is a true story though no little girl has come to take my life as of yet. Hope you had good laugh like a do when I remember the incident.
The next story is "Bad Day."
Ok fella, have a nice day!!!
Lots of love!!!.
Bye.
See you next time.
