" What!" Blurted Kady as she stared at the brunette female mutant, whom she know known as Wanda Maximoff, in genuine surprise as finish beginning her up to speed on her situation. The magician stood up from the seat she had been moved too. But she quickly sat back down as she felt sick again. Kady's head was now spinning and making her feel so incredibly dizzy. " Can you say that all again because I didn't get any of that." Said Kady in full tone as she rubbed her temples to try and sooth the growing pain. Wanda sighed, but never the less nodded understandingly.
" There had been an attack in New York by Hydra Agents, you, for whatever reason, decided to join us and help us fight them off, while fighting you got thrown pretty hard into a wall and suffered a concussion, which may explain your loose of time. You also suffered some bad bullet wound, cuts, and nearly bleed out." She explained again.
" She nearly what now!" Cried Julia panicky.
" Julia, dear, calm down please." Said Quinn as he tried to calm their caretaker alter, but, it was pointless. She was damn near having a full blown anxiety attack.
" Jewels, please, pretty please, calm down. Your going to make Kady feel anxious. And then will all feel anxious and it will not be fun," Said Eliot as he tried to calm her down. " Just breath, Jewels."
" But, but... she could have died!" Exclaimed Julia.
" But she didn't." Margo interjected.
" But she could have like died died! And then we," Julia whimpered and couldn't finish her thought.
" We know Julia. But, she fine now. And it seems these people, as much as it kills me to admit, seem genuine worriedly and protective over Kady. She in good hands Jewels." Admitted Penny softly, which caused Julia to slightly calm down.
Kady wheezed as her body shook with pain and anxiety. The other woman in the room looked at her concerned. Wanda placed her hand on her shoulder, which made a sense of relief and calmness wash over her. Kady smiled thankfully up at the empath. The mutant grinned playfully down at her before making her over to coffee maker to pour herself another cup of coffee. After pouring the coffee, she didn't even add any creamer or sugar which made Kady make a face of slight disgust as the girl drank her coffee plain and dark. Kady's eyes glanced over to the clock on wall that read nine thirty. She looked back at Wanda and the redhead known as Natasha Romanoff, they both were happily drinking her coffee and chatting while the strawberry blonde now known as Pepper Potts, was working on her laptop.
When Ten o'clock started to roll around, Pepper and Wanda had started to make brunch for everyone. Natasha had later joined in too help. When the trio were half way down making brunch was when most of the boys plus Valkyrie had tiredly made their way into the large kitchen. They each had grabbed their own spot in vast kitchen. Tony had settled for a seat at the kitchen bar, while both super soldiers plus all three Asgardians had taken a seat at the dinning room table, and Clint, on the other hand, had settled with sitting on the kitchen countertop that was strategically near both Natasha and the coffee machine. Which seemed to be a more than a delightful medium for the archer.
" Looks like are favorite local Magicians has finally decided to grace us with her presences." Tony teased as he took the open seat next to her. Kady narrowed her eyes at him. Tony playfully grinned at her in response.
" He's honestly so adorable." Stated Margo.
" You think everyone who hot and rich is adorable." Deadpanned Alice annoyedly.
" What can I say, rich guys usually have the best big di-"
" MARGO, SHUT THE HELL UP!" Exclaimed Kady in embarrassment as she hide her face in palms. The female magicians faced flustered a bright red. Tony raised an eyebrow at the girl, which only made her fluster even more. She heard her alter chuckling in the backing of her mind. Kady sighed loudly.
" I officially hate my fucking altars." Stated Kady dramatically, which, of course, she didn't mean but the annoyance was very real.
