Chapter Five ~ DEEP INTO THE MIND
_________________________
Five personalities slowly descend down a long, very narrow, and very, very ancient wooden bridge. It was decorated in a vast variety of gorgeous summer flowers that were in perfect bloom; the flowered were connected to huge vines that hung off the side of the bridge. And, Rainbow Bridge just so happened to over look a simply beautiful and gigantic waterfall that was nuzzled deep within the lush forest of Kady's very unique mindscape. The air smelt of fresh salt water, and rich smoky pine with the tiniest of hint lavender. All five of personalities could hear a sort of low hum coming from the huge waterfall, and a rather soft song of the tree leafs wrestling in wind that played as a sort of noise backdrop for them. The bright summer sun beamed down on all of their very exposed skin as they walked further down the long bridge. It was so sunny, and such a truly warm day, but it wasn't the sort of warm that was so unbearable, dreadful and just completely miserable by all accounts, but rather a sort of gentle warmth that sent little tingles of sun kisses upon exposed skin, and even had a little tiny breeze of coldish and warmish air that seemed to just help balance everything out.
" So, how does everyone like the avengers?" Questioned Alice as she slowly followed after Quintin. They took a step off the shaky bride, and stared moving down a hiking trail that lead down towards a intersection; It lead to a path that could either take you to the entrance of he castle or could lead you to the very bottom off the water fall. It was super easy to get lost or confused by which path was which. Luckily enough for all of the personalities, Quintin was the best when it came to geography. The five personalities had been walking for what felt like centuries, but was only about a mere six, give or take, minutes in real time. In the world that is just outside of Kady's dreams.
" I mean, some of them are really cute." Mused Elliot as he shot his best friend a knowing smirk. There was a small mummers of different, but mostly similar opinions on the group of selfless heroes; most of them were good or about how cute/hot they no doubtably were. The five personalities fell almost surprisingly silent as they made their way down into a dark forest. Big, very imposing pine and cedar trees stood proudly as the five managed to weave their way throughout The Flying Forest. But, a little unsurprisingly, it was Margo who broke the silence first.
" How much further?"
" Where not that far away from the entrance." Quintin called out as he pushed a tree bench away from his face.
" Are we there yet?" Margo again questioned, but in a more whiny tone. Her features wore a big playful smirk when she earned an annoyed groan from her friends. She knew it would instantly annoy all of the other personalities. Which is something she quite liked to do. "Are we there yet?"" Say it one more time,, and I'll actually will murder your sorry ass." Said Penny in utter exasperation. Margo couldn't help but chuckling at Penny's dismay. " Your the absolute worst. You know that right?" Penny stated as he threw his arm over Margo shoulder.
" Yeah, but you love me." Margo retorts with a wide grin.
" Unfortunately."
" What do you mean unfortunately? I'm absolutely fucking delightful. I'm am a sweet treat, if you must know!" Margo states almost defensively as she looks at Penny with fake offense. The duo then just laughed, and shook theirs head at their usual antics. The five personalities finally reached the end of the forest trail, and were finally at the old castle. They could just barely see, in the very vast distance, the large waterfall that was spilling into the lake that sat just at the bottom of it. They could also see Julia's garden that was just adjacent to them. Margo and Elliot shared a knowing look. Mischief, and happiness shinned in their eyes as they stared at each other with giddy grins. " Race you. Loser has to buy pizza."
" Oh your on!" Said Elliot because taking off into a sprint. Quintin stared at the other two personalities in confusion.
" They do realize that we all share the same money? Right?" Quintin questioned in a very perplexed manner. Alice just shrugged in response.
" It's best not to question their very flawed logic." She stated coldly before moving in towards the inside of the castle. Ahead of them, a soft hazel skinned girl was roughly pushing Elliot out of the way before running past him. The two best friends laughed as they shoved, pushed, and pulled at each other. They were clutching their guts in pain as they had quickly found out that running and laughing didn't quite mix well." I totally won that!" Declared Margo as she beamed at Elliot, who just simply smiled and rolled his eyes at his best friend. " Your buying pizza."
" I'm putting pineapple on it then." Elliot deadpanned in a semi serious tone. He had a small playful smirk as Margo made a look of disgust and betrayal.
" Your a monster." Gasped Margo in fake horror. Before any more banter could go any further, someone cleared their throat loudly. The duo turned to see Kady, and Julia were already there, and waiting patiently for them. Kady was sitting in a golden thrones that was in the exact middle of all of the other thrones, while Julia was sitting at the one that was the very last one on the left side.
" We can begin the meeting now." Julia stated with soft, gentle smile as she saw the rest of the personalities arrive.
