I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Noah?!"

He turned around.

"Hug Bug!"

I just gaped at him. He had grown. He was tall now, and he was built. Not too much but just enough to leave a girl drooling. His hair was short and wavy, I wondered what it would be like to run my fingers through it. It looked so soft.
I couldn't believe little Noah Jenkins was this man now. My childhood friend had grown so much.

"Hug Bug?"

"Huh?"

I must have been staring for a while.

"Did you hear what I said?"

"Umm...no sorry."

"I said... Come and give me a hug!"

He ran in my direction with a big grin. He picked me up and span me around. I just started giggling.

"Put me down you big oaf"

He gave me a grin and put me down gently.

"It's been so long."

"I know right! I got here when you were still asleep and your mom here was kind enough to make me breakfast and endulge me while you were still dreaming."

I punched his arm and he just laughed.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to see you duh. And to give you...this."

He pulled a box out of his pocket and for a minute I swear to you, I though he was going to get down on one knee and pull out a ring. But instead he opened the box and inside was the most beautiful necklace I had ever seen.

It had a small lock and a key on it.

"Awww, Noah, you didn't have to."

"But I wanted to."

He took the necklace from the box and looked at me as if asking for permission to put it on me. I nodded. I turned my back to him and felt the cold metal against my skin. I turned back at him and he had a grin on his face. I left the kitchen and went to the hallway where there was a mirror. I looked into it and just had a feeling of awe. Noah was standing behind me.

"It's so beautiful."

He smirked
"What. The necklace or the person wearing it?"

"Oh shut up you."

I looked back at him.

"Seriously though, thank you so much. You really didn't have to."

"Did you actually think, I would come here, to my childhood bestfriend's house, after staying a bajillion years without seeing her, empty handed?"
He put a hand to his heart.

"I'm shocked you would ever assume such of me."

I laughed.

"Whatever you big doof."

We walked back into the kitchen and started chatting and catching up. Me, him and my mom.
I still couldn't believe Noah, my childhood bestfriend and crush, was here. As we were talking and laughing, I realized I had missed him a lot since he went. I remember we'd stay up until late at night just talking on the phone and counting the days till he would come back.

"Sorry to cut the visit short ladies, but I gotta head back home. Its getting a bit late."

"Oh no problem honey, it's always a pleasure to have you here."

"Always a pleasure to be here Mrs S."

"I'll walk you to the door."

We got up and he hugged my mom. We walked towards the door and went outside. And as soon as we were outside I ran into his arms.

"Oof! Something the matter?"

"I just missed you.....a lot."

He stroked my hair. I pulled back.

"I know, I mean...who wouldn't miss this."
He struck a pose that instantly made me burst into laughter. He joined in. When we both calmed down he looked at me. Though, this time his gaze felt...different. He came closer to me and closed the distance between us. He leaned in and planted a soft kiss on my lips. At first my body tensed up, I was not expecting that. But afterwards I melted into our kiss. After a few moments he pulled away, smirking. I'm pretty sure the only expression on my face was shock. His smirk just widened.

"I'll see you tomorrow." He gave me a kiss on my forehead and turned on his heels and left.

I managed to get a hold of myself and went inside. I walked up the stairs and into my room and fell on top of my bed. I couldn't believe. Noah actually kissed me. My childhood heartthrob kissed me.
I was over the moon. I knew I couldn't be able to keep this to myself, so I called Jen.

"HE WHAT?!"

"Not too loud! You'll end up blowing up my ear drums."

"Girl, this is huge. Cute little Noah all grown up, came to your house and when he left he kissed you?! And gave no explanation whatsoever?"

"Nope. He just straight up left."

"Ooooo girl, you got yourself a man."

"Hold up Jen. Don't make a big deal out of it"

"Big deal?! Girl he kissed you on the lips and your forehead and you're telling me not to make a big deal out of it? Wait, you mean to tell me you don't even care?"

"I mean, it was just a kiss." Jen knew just as well as I did that it was not just a kiss.

We continued to talk, about the kiss, about school and eventually ended up talking about her love life.

"Girl, I gotta go. Talk to you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay, bye Jen!"

I ended the call and then looked at the time.

"Woah, when did it get so late?"

I got into bed and waited to fall asleep. That is, until I heard something hit my window.
I got up and went to look outside. What I saw outside just left me confused. I opened the window and whispered.

"What are you doing here?"

"Let me in and I'll explain."
