Part 10

I woke up, glancing at the clock, 12 o clock. I looked to see Ast, but he wasn't there. I sat up, expecting to see him getting dressed or something. He was nowhere. Then I saw the note on his pillow.

'Totally forgot until now... audition today 12:30! I'll come by your house later! Ast xxx’

I smiled reading his message. I stuck it onto my 'friends' board I have on top of my desk, full of photos of the girls, school, friends, family, and cinema tickets or fun stuff we all did. Its my collage of friendship and good times. His audition was in half an hour. I smiled, really hoping something good would happen for him. Jumping in the shower, I got ready for the day, specially curling my hair instead of putting it up, knowing Ast would be coming around later. He's seen me looking a mess, I know, but when I can, I always try to look okay. I dressed into dark skinny jeans, and red MTV top with sides cut out and white boob tube top under it. Rach would call it 'dancerish' because 'it shows too much' but you can't see anything so I like it. And besides, shove on some heels and you're ready to party! I found my everyday bracelets on my bedside table and pulled them around my wrist. Walking downstairs, I saw CJ texting.

"Hey!" I smiled, sitting next to him.

"Hey Liv. Had fun last night?" CJ winked, nudging me.

"What you getting at?" I asked, knowing he only does that when he wants to know something.

"Well, you and Ast? And I take it you shared the bed as the airbed is still in its box in my room." CJ smiled. "You can tell me if you two are dating you know."

"Woah, CJ! We are not dating!" I spoke, shocked.

"But you still slept together?" CJ asked again.

"No, Ast slept on the floor on some pillows." I lied, not wanting to explain the whole thing to CJ.

"I'm not gonna have a go if you did! Just make sure you're staying safe." CJ spoke again. I looked at him, total shock.

"You think me and Ast..?" I asked, almost choking on my amazement.

"I lost my virginity at 16 Liv, its not like i'm gonna judge you!" Was this really my brother speaking?

"Oh Em Gee. CJ, too much info. And just to let you know, i'm virgin, and that's not changing for a while." I stood up, totally amazed I just had that conversation. And CJ lost his virginity at 16? My older brother, who seemed to be perfect has lost it? Woah, not something I want to think about. I grabbed some cash from the side, deciding I needed a walk. That was too much.

[Guess what! Been talking to dad and he says he's gonna buy me a flat near your place because I can't go to school every morning with a like 50 million hour journey! HOW COOL IS THAT! G,xxx] Georgie text me as I was walking to the shop. I screamed to myself, reading the message.

[TOTALLY COOL! Gonna be so good! You know the address of the place? :D L,xxxx]

[Erm, just number 6 in the Lidrick flats! Dads put the deposit down and everything! eeeeeeekk!:D G,xxxx]

[They're the new flats! Georgie, your literally 5 minutes away from me, and in posh accommodation! OMFG YEAH! :D:D L,xxxx]

[I KNOW! Well excited! And guess when i'm moving?!xxxx]

I smiled. Thats nearly every one of my best friends living near me. This was going to be so good! Rach, Ast, Meg, and now Georgie! There's only Sophie not living nearby, and she lives closer than Georgie did. Having reached the shop, I bought a box of cereal, and headed home again. It was 12:30. Ast would be in his audition. I crossed my fingers, whispering good luck, and carried on walking.
