Find peace in my chaos
And comfort in these words
Even when they betray me.
Fill all my gaps and
Hoist me closer to you
When I'm wandering and on the verge
Of self-destruct.
On days when I'm at war with my truth
And forget how to love myself,
Let your smile be a safe haven
I know I can always run to,
Away from all the noise.
And let your hands trace the beauty
Hidden beneath my flesh
As your words straddle me
To safety.
