Chapter 6

Ravens P.O.V

I braced for impact.Shutting my eyes and thinking how crappy my life had been. At least this week was great. Now death seemed like a pleasurable idea. But it never came. Instead I felt a cold metal hand grab the back of my shirt before I was roughly thrown back down on to the ground.

I groaned slightly before pushing myself back up on my feet and glared at the two in front. I turned around and a Tinman began floating down, his arm outstretched and the middle of his palm blared a bright yellow.

"I thought birds could fly but I was clearly mistaken." The Flying piece of metal said. I scowled at his words realising what he was talking about. Since my real name was Raven, Hydra used it as my stage name when I went on missions- The Raven. They never called me my really name at the Base but on missions they would use that or 'soldier'.

I shuffled backwards towards the supersoldier and redhead before quickly turning and kicking one of them in the face, catching them off-guard. However Tinhead grabbed my arm and pushed me to the floor where he painfully twisted my arm against my back and held my other arm down. He then proceeded to kick me in the back of one of my legs so I was half kneeling. I made a small hissing noise.

The patriotic one came up to me, his left side of his face was beginning to bruise. Now I knew who I hot at least. His eyes seemed quite angry and annoyed but there was something else there. I couldn't tell what it was.

"Just come quietly and don't struggle." He said.

I felt annoyed inside. Did he really think I was going to just wait for them to take them in. He had another thing coming.

"I'm all right thanks!" I said sarcastically, something I didn't think I could do.

I attempted to get free but Tinman shoved my hand higher up my back which made me give a small yelp in pain.

All three towered above me as I kneeled in front them, not daring to look in their eyes. Dammit I was so close!  I felt tears brimming my eyes but I wouldn't let them come out. They hadn't broken me yet. Hydra had but these people were different. I could stay strong. I had to try.

Soon a massive airship kinda thing descended down from the sky.

"The Helecarrier is here. Come on boys, we have work to do."

It opened and out came the archer from earlier. He looked cheerful when he greeted the others before glaring at me. However his angry expression quickly became a confused one.

"Are you sure this is her? She looks way too young!" He asked the others.

"She is the same girl from the pictures in her file." One of the others replied.

"Definitely looks younger in person." He mumbled.

I remained silent as they shoved me into the Helecarrier, that is what they called it, and said nothing as the put chains on my hand and feet. Great!

Back at square one.

Poor Raven. I really feel sorry for her even though it kind of is my fault she is there in the first place :/
