Chapter 5

Ravens P.O.V

I stepped back, glaring at the man who just ruined my peace. Seriously I had just got my freedom and now he was going to rip it away from me! I had never seen him at Hydra before and he certainly wasn't wearing their uniform. Must be from another organisation. Hydra and warned me about other places when I went on missions. They probably wanted to experiment and torture me just as Hydra did. I couldn't go back to that life. I didn't want to. I did the first thing I could think of.
I ran.

Whatever Hydra did to me helped my have way more stamina than a normal human bring as well as make me a lot  faster and stronger than the average  human. However this guy wasn't that far behind me. Crap. He must be a super soldier or something. But that is definetely not something I should be focusing on right now.

I made it to the woods and could hear his footsteps behind me. I suddenly caught on to a tree branch and swerved myself upwards and watched as he quickly past me. I swung back down and ran the opposite direction back where I came from. Hah, easy. I ran back to the massive grasslands before I something felt wrong. I quickly sidestepped and moved out of the way just as an arrow flew past I ducked as another went just above my head. I scanned the area and saw a man perched on a tree with a bow and arrow. I picked up one of his arrows before throwing it back in his direction. I didn't wait to see if it hit the archer or not ... I just ran. I think there is more of them somewhere. I looked quickly across the fields, still running of course and spotted a red thing a few hundred meters away. I know I hate Hydra but at least whatever they experimented me with is actually useful! She came closer and closer and I didn't even realise that she was aiming a kick at me until her foot connected with my face. My jaw throbbed in pain but i have felt worse i got back up in a fighting stance and aimed a punch at her face. She blocled but i landed one on her side and a kick in her stomach. She went for mt face and kicked my legs but i managed another kick in the stomach before throwing over my shoulder as she doubled up in pain. I took of and ran and ran, dazed and didn't pay attention as to where I was going.

I didn't realise where I was running to until my surroundings suddenly looked  very familiar. I looked around and realised I was on the cliff that over looked everything! I came up here a couple of times when I really wanted to relax for a long time. However now there was nowhere to run to. I thought it was a good idea to go back to my inn until i turned around and saw the spandex man and the red head standing behing me a couple meters away. Damn! How did I not notice them.

"We can do this the easy way or the hard way ma'am" super spandex man said.

"The hard way is always more fun but the easier way would be better for you" redhead added, trying to be intimidating but It didn't exactly work, after all I did just beat her up. Still better then the human flag.

I knew there was no way out.... alive. Whoever these people were, they didn't seem that nice since they were fighting me and they were probably going to torture me and hurt me again. I can't go through that pain again. I didn't want to go back to that life after experiencing this new one. I did the next best thing. After all, death was better than a life of pain.

I jumped.

Oh no! Will she make it or not? Well the story hasn't exactly finished yet and she is kinda the main character but whatever, guess you will have to wait and see 😈.
