Survivor (Original)

Chapter 9

Third person P.O.V

The avengers busted into Ravens room, weapons ready just in case. They expected havoc everywhere with a dangerous assassin in the middle. Instead they saw the young girl simply staring into space as if nothing happened.

Raven however was freaking out on the inside. She was thinking of a way to use her new found power to get out. She decided she would go at the next interrogation meeting. She looked up and saw the avengers standing there with their suits and weapons. It made her smile because they thought she was so dangerous. Really she was just a broken girl fighting for survival.

Once the avengers thought that Raven wasn't about to attack them, they lowered the weapons and began quietly discussing to each other.

"Let's ask her what she knows about her power." suggested Clint. Natasha back-handed his head.

"We already tried asking her stuff and you know how that went" She huffed

"Worth a try. She seems more confused now and her emotionless demeanour is slightly broken. Maybe she will let something slip up." Added Steve. Fury agreed and went to Ravens cell. He took out a pair of handcuffs and tied out around her wrists before leading her back to the interrogation room.

Ravens P.O.V

Yes this is going so well. All I need to do is catch them off guard and I could escape. As son as Fury left the room I began plotting in my head my escape plan. The red headed girl came in. Perfect. I quickly blasted of my restraints. The red head was shocked and I took her moment of hesitation as a chance to run out the door. She didn't wait long though because I saw her sprinting after me not too long later. I quickly rounded a corner only to slam into the captain himself.

I didn't stop though. Instead I slid under his legs and continued. There were 2 ways to turn so I took the left. I could hear footsteps coming closer so I sent off another blast in thor direction. I didn't wait to see what I had done but I took of again in what I thought was the right direction.

However,not long after I was pushed to the floor. I cursed silently and saw the spangled man had thrown me down. I went for a punch at his face but he easily caught it. Luckily, I managed to land a kick in his stomach. He loosens his grip on my hand and I scrambled up and began running again. Didn't make it too far because the archer was right there. Dammit! He threw a punch which landed on my side and a kick in my shoulder.  I let out a ground and round  house kicked him. I then aimed my punch for his temple and watched as he crumpled to his knees. I whispers sorry quickly before running again.

My fight with the archer however gave lots of time for the captain to catch up with me. He went for a kick which landed in my abdomen. For payback I threw a punch at his nose. There was horrible crunch and I'm pretty sure I broke it. The soldier however didn't seem to care and grabbed both wrists, pinning to the wall.

"Your not running away again. You will pay for all of those lives you ended" his voice see the with anger and I wondered if I had killed someone he knew. And he said 'again' but I thought I've never seen him before. Must've been a mission hydra had wiped.

I attempted to send another blast but all my energy had been wiped put of me and I was exhausted. I've never used this power before and it was killing me to go on. (Not literally I was just really tired)

"I'm sorry" I muttered before I gave into exhaustion and fell asleep.
