Third person P.O.V

Raven remained silent the whole trip. The avengers watched and attempted to study her. However her face remained stone cold and held no emotions. Eventually she drifted of into sleep. Clint leaned over and whispered to Steve.

"She seems really young. I don't believe she is the assassin. She seems to innocent."

"Don't make assumptions. You saw her skill. She caught your arrow and managed to knock you down from whatever you were perched on." Steve whispered back.

The next few hours went by slowly. When they finally reached S.H.I.E.L.D , Clint shook Raven awake and all the avengers led her to the interrogation room. They left her in there, locking the door behind them. The room was white with a wooden table in the middle ,2 wooden chairs and a large mirror. Raven knew this was a one-way window as she had been on the other side of one with Hydra. The avengers watched her as she stared at them, cold- faced, hiding any sort of emotion. However , Natasha could see her slightly trembling, her cuffs gently rattled as she kept her hands on the table.

"She's scared." Natasha told the others.

"She is one of the great assassins of the day. Why would she be scared?" Steve asked, only getting glares from Clint and Natasha in return. They heard the door open as Fury stalked in. They all watched in interest.

"Your name." Fury asked. Raven stared at him in confusion but then quickly realised that the rest of the world thought Raven was only her stage name. Still, she had no intention of giving that knowledge to the man standing in front of her.

"I asked you a question miss. What is your name." Fury asked again, slightly annoyed.

Raven was getting slightly pissed at this point. Yes she was prisoner and yes she will probably be punished for being insolent for saying this but it was in her nature.

"Actually you didn't ask a question. You made a statement. Your name is not a question therefore there was no need for me to answer it." Raven replied, a small smile playing at her lips. Nick and the other avengers, bar Natasha, were shocked at this little outburst .But Natasha heard a crackle in her voice. She knew that this girl couldn't keep her mask on for long.

Nick slammed his fist on the table. Raven flicked and turned away, scared he was about to hit her. Nick showed some confusion but ignored his back-of-the-mind thoughts and pushed it aside. Instead he angrily asked her again, only to receive no response and a blank face. He kept shouting words her, a few times noticing her flinching, but kept earning no response. In the end, he walked out of the room, clearly frustrated and mutter something to Agent Hill before leaving.

Raven sat in the room, twiddling her thumbs nervously. They hadn't done anything to her yet and all she could do was wait. It was pretty boring and nothing much had happened.

Except for that pirate man coming in and shouting at me.

Sometimes it feels like the wait is worse than the actual consequence. After a few hours of pure boredom and fear, Raven finally had a chance to talk to someone. Doesn't exactly mean she took it though. Natasha pulled up a chair and sat opposite the girl. Ravens head hung low and she stared at the door.

"I'm going to ask this once. What is your name." Raven slowly turned to look at Natasha. Her dead eyes stared right through Nat and made her shiver.

"Answer me... Now." Raven kept her lips sealed. Nat became deeply frustrated. Normally people get intimidated by her and obey but this assassin seemed as if she couldn't care less. Raven in fact was deeply scared of what they were going to do to her. Still she kept on her cold exterior... hoping that she could find a way to escape before they could do anything to bad her.

Natasha almost lost it. She stood up and grabbed the scruff of Ravens shirt, hoisting her onto her feet as well.

"Listen to me. You will tell us. You can't stay shut up forever." Ravens eyes turned wide from panic and fear. Natasha dropped her and grouched at of the room... steam fuming from her ears.

She couldn't get anything out of her. Not. One. Word.

Clint chuckled as she waked out but received a smack on the back of his head when she passed him.

"Owwie" he moaned before walking into the interrogation room and facing the troubled assassin.

"Don't know how you stayed quiet. Not many people can annoy her as quickly as you did and you didn't say a word! You have to teach me your ways. But for now let's take you to your holding cell." He chuckled before motion in her to follow him. She silently got up and mumbled something like 'yes sir'.

Well that's not weird at all. Does she normally do that?

Clint and a couple of guard took her to a massive glass cell that was round and empty. The guards roughly shove her in there and Nick Fury came in.

"Don't try to escape. You won't make it." He warned her before leaving.

Raven lay on the floor, exhausted. She began to drift off into a uncomfortable sleep.

It was her first true interrogation. They hooked up a wire on her so everyone she failed a question or failed to retrieve an answer, she got electrocuted. But at the same time she didn't want to watch this man get electrocuted in the chair himself. That's all she had to do. Ask the question. Press the button. Ask him a fain and repeat until she got a reasonable answer.

Still. She didn't want to do it.  But they made her. The electrocutions they gave her this time were short but stung- different than normal. Still painful. In the end they gave her a choice. Either she could be the one in the chair, or the other guy. Although she didn't want to hurt him, she didn't want to get hurt either. She watched through streaming eyes and his screams filled the air... until they were no more.

"Woahhh. Bruce you might want to check this out." Said Tony. On the screen in front of him was the assassin they recently captured. She was convulsing and screaming out. She kept yelling  stop!!. Suddenly, jets of purple energy shout out of her hands.

"What is she doing" mumbled Bruce, trying to see what was happening.

Raven woke up, panting and out of breath. She curled up into a ball and tried to calm herself but instead she got more worked up. A stream of purple came flying out of her hand. She was startled and pounced backwards. She looked down at her hands at amazement.

What is this.

"She is attacking. We need to-" Steve started as he reached for his shield.

"Calm down capsicle. Look. She has absolutely no idea what she is doing. She's just as confused as we are." interrupted Tony.

"What we need to do is go down and talk to her. She is still very young and can't be older than a teenager." Nick stated as he walked into the room.

"Let's go find out what is wrong with this assassin" finished Steve and they al headed downstairs ready to meet the monster in the cage.
