Chapter 28: Sidewalk Chalk

(LOUIS' POV)

"Ms. Lillian, you work magic." I cried as we gazed at our work. Little did she know that I meant it two ways...in makeup, and in my heart. Niall pouted, making me laugh quietly.

"You too, nialler." I told him. With a smile Niall nodded and ran off to the designated room he had chosen, but since Liam was currently passed out on the couch, Niall got the whole room to himself. "Hey, Lilli?" I asked softly. She turned to face me.

"Mhm?"

"Er...the boys sort of stole my bed. Could I...maybe, um...room with you?" I asked hesitantly, knowing full well that I could either room with Niall for the night or take Zayn and Harry's empty room. But to be completely honest, I wanted to be as close to Lilli as possible.

"Of course." she said with a smile. I followed her into her room, shutting the door quietly with my foot. She bounced over to the dresser, swiftly picking out pajamas. Without even giving me a glance, she began to strip off and change. My eyes grew wide and I quickly turned around despite how much I wanted to look. God damn Lilli, you'll be the death of me. After 5 torturous minutes I turned around to see her already finished. She was cuddled up in bed. Having no pajamas to change into, I slid into her bed as well. I didn't expect anything, but I had an aching need to have her in my arms. So going with my instinct, I scooted closer to her and wrapped my arms around her waist. She wasnt the skinniest girl ever, but she wasn't the largest. And I loved that. I felt her nuzzle her head into my chest and the butterflies flew into my stomach. To think I'd almost lost her today, just minutes after I'd got her. I might be taking it fast...but I needed to. I think I may love her.
