Four months later...
The ALDC had been on a roll with their first win of the second competition of the season and surprisingly, through those four months, the Candy Apples were nowhere to be seen, but Abby and Andrew knew that they would strike at one point.
Andrew was awakened by his alarm at 9:00 AM and he got up from his bed and made it up and then he did some more cleaning of his mansion and it took 10 minutes, then he jumped in the shower and put on blue jeans, slip on sandals and a black t-shirt, then he heard his cell phone ring.
"Hello?"
"I'm going out for breakfast, would you like to go to IHop with me?" Abby asked.
"Sure thing, mom. I don't have anything to do anyway." Andrew replied.
"I'll pick you up in 30 minutes at the latest." Abby told him and then she hung up and exactly 30 minutes later, the doorbell rang as Andrew got up from his couch and walked to the door and opened it and Abby was standing there, wearing her usual black attire and sandals too.
"Hello, mom."
"Hello hello hello, Andrew. You ready to go?" Abby asked her son, who nodded, then they both left, locked up the house and activated the security system, got in the car and pulled out.
Minutes later, they arrived at IHop and they were taken to a booth near the window as they sat down, the menus were on the table so they could order and then a minute later, the waiter came up to take their order.
"Hello, welcome to IHop, my name is Cindy and i'll be your waitress today. What would you guys like?"
"I would like the Three Eggs & Pancakes with Bacon." Andrew said as the waitress wrote down what he had just ordered as it was Abby's turn to order.
"Ma'am?"
"I'll have the Belgian Waffle."
"Ok, your food will be ready in 10 minutes." The waitress left to serve another table
"Did any of the girls want to come for breakfast too?" Andrew asked.
"Nah, they were doing other things with their mothers." Abby replied, then from out of nowhere, they hear a voice.
"Andrew?"
Andrew and Abby heard the voice and they both turned their heads right, looked up and standing there was Andrew's old friend from high school, Stephen Johnson, who had medium hair and was 6'1, he was wearing a Miami Heat shirt and black jeans.
"Hey, stephen! how are you doing?" Andrew said, giving him a high five.
"I've been doing good and currently, i'm in a community college studying to be a lawyer, so i can help cases be determined in the courtroom. Man, i haven't seen you since high school! what have you been up to?" Stephen asked.
"I've been doing good, i've been helping my mom choreograph at her studio. "
"That's good to know, How have you been doing, Ms. Miller?" Stephen asked as he leaned over and gave Abby a hug.
"I'm doing good, Stephen and since you're an adult now, you can call me Abby."
"Ok, Abby. Are you still dealing with those crazy moms? because i remember Andrew telling me a lot of stories about those moms."
"Every single week in that studio, those moms have been driving me nuts, for example, whenever one of the girls don't get a solo, their mother complains." Abby explained.
"I bet those moms are cuckoo!"
"They sure are. Did you know we're on a show called Dance Moms?"
"Oh, yeah! I've been watching the show since the very first episode and i've got to say, you two make the show!"
"Thanks!"
"Well, It was nice seeing you two again, i'm gonna go and head for home, oh and tell Paige that she's my favorite dancer!" Stephen said, shaking Andrew's hand and gave Abby a hug as he left, leaving Andrew and Abby to resume eating their breakfast.
"Mom, what's going to be on the dancing agenda at the studio tomorrow?" Andrew asked before he took a bite of his bacon and chewed with his mouth closed.
"Well, Andrew, tomorrow we're gonna have three solos and a duet lined up and the group dance will be there like usual." Abby explained to her son, whenever they talked about dance, Andrew would always ask what would be on the agenda for the upcoming week at the studio.
After finishing up breakfast, Andrew and Abby paid the bill, left a tip and left the building and walked towards the car to figure out where they were gonna head to next.
"Ok, where do you want to go next?"
"How about the beach? we could take a walk."
"Sure thing, Andrew." Then Abby backed the car out of the parking lot and headed to Crandon Park Beach and when they parked, they noticed that Nia, Brooke and Maddie were all playing with a frisbee while Holly, Kelly and Melissa were watching.
"Go long, Maddie!" Nia shouted as she prepared the throw the frisbee to her.
"Ok!" Maddie called as Nia threw the frisbee in her direction and as soon as she was about to catch it...
"Interception again!" Andrew shouted, catching the frisbee as Abby came on to the beach as Maddie and Brooke were surprised that they came to the beach as they didn't expect them as Andrew handed the frisbee to Maddie. "Here you go, Mads."
"Thanks, it's good to see you and Miss Abby, Andrew." Maddie said.
"Where's Kenzie, Paige, Chloe, Kendall and Asia?"
"Paige is at the mall with Chloe and Christi, Kendall and Jill are at the arcade, Mackenzie is visiting with Ryan and Tyler and Asia and Kristie are at a museum with Gianna." Nia explained.
"Oh, do you mind if i join in on the Frisbee game?" Andrew asked.
"We don't mind, we were just about to ask you if you wanted to play!" Brooke said, as Abby, Kelly, Holly and Melissa were watching them play and laugh while they were having fun.
