Chapter 6

In Wakanda
"Ready, begin."
Peter and T'Challa lunged at each other. Right before T'Challa was going to hit Peter with his staff, he shot a web and pulled himself up to the ceiling.
"Ha! Can't get me now T'Challa!" Peter yelled from the ceiling.
"Really Peter?" Just then Peter getting pulled off the ceiling. His finger tips just barely hanging on. Once his fingers gave up, Peter fell onto the ground with a loud thump. A small circular metal ball floated out of Peter's sweatshirt hood. The ball floated back to T'Challa staff and went back into the hole it came out of.
"Retractable vibranium balls. Used for faraway attacks. Very strong. Able to pull 1,000 kg. (2,204 lbs.) Peter, you can't have any open areas. Like you never noticed I slipped that ball into you hood. You have amazing reaction speed and quick thinking. Yet you lack the awareness of your surroundings without the use of your spidey sense. That is what we will work on. For now, you will be fighting these practice dummies." As he said that about 20-30 robots came from out of the walls.
"The settings still be on highest difficulty. You have 10 minutes to get as many as you can down. Afterwards we'll head off to have breakfast." T'Challa says. "Ready, begin."
Time Skip
Peter stood in front of the last robot panting. The other robots (now destroyed) took a lot out of Peter. As he was about to step forward the timer went off.
"Close, one Peter. Go clean up and we'll head to breakfast." T'Challa says before walking away.
Peter followed T'Challa before splitting paths to each other's rooms.
Time Skip to After Peter's Done Cleaning Himself
Peter entered the dining hall and sat next to Scott.
"Morning kid." Scott greeted tiredly.
"Good morning." Peter answers back.
"Peter! I'm already planning on what your other powers are other then just webs!" Shuri shouts from the door of the dining hall.
"Already? You really wanna make the suit Shuri ." Peter says. Shuri just shrugs.
"Pete, once we're done with breakfast we'll begin you training for shrinking. Your training will be like Scott's, but because you have powers it'll be harder." Hope says from across the table.
"Ok. Also, Hank? When will we start designing the suit?" Peter asks.
"I want to start this evening if it's alright with you?" He answers back.
"Yeah it's fine."
"Brother said he can't join us for breakfast. He got called away for a meeting in another country." Shuri said.
"That's fine." Scott says.
The servants/warriors walked out of the kitchen doors carrying the breakfast. They set the food in front and exited silently.
"Thanks!" Both Shuri and Peter yelled.
"Thank you." Hank, Scott, and Hope said calmly.
Time Skip to After Breakfast
"Ok, Peter, hold these." Hope says handing growing and shrinking disks to Peter.
Hope walked behind Peter and covered his eyes with a blindfold.
"Now I want you to try hit the dummies moving in front of you." As she said that 5-6 (from what Peter guessed,) began moving back and fourth in front of him. He knew this was an exercise to strengthen his ears if he wasn't able to see anything if he was small. (Or his mask got destroyed.) Peter threw a disk he heard something shrink. Hoping it was a robot he threw the rest of the disks. Once all the disks were thrown, Peter pulled off the blindfold and saw only one big robot and one small robot.
"Well, I guess I need a little bit more practice." Peter says nervously.
"It's find Peter. You should've seen Scott when he first started." Hope says shaking her head at the memory when Scott first started.
"Anyways let's continue." She announced.
6 Months Time Skip
"Peter! Me and Hank finished the suit!" Shuri screamed from the door of the training room. Peter stopped hitting the punching bag and turned to face Shuri.
"Really! Can I try it out?!" Peter says jogging over to Shuri.
"You can! Come on!" Then Shuri bolted out of the room with Peter close behind.
With the Avengers
'It's been 6 fucking months with no sign of Peter.' Tony thought to himself while chugging another bottle of alcohol. Pepper, Natasha, Steve, and Bruce then entered the room. Pepper walked up to Tony and yanked the drink from out of his hands.
"Hey! I was drinking that!" Tony shouted.
"Tony, look at yourself! You're a mess. You need to stop this!" Pepper screamed.
"Pepper's right Tones." Natasha says.
"You guys don't know what I feel like." Tony maybe mumbles.
"Tony, if Peter was here right now, how do you think he would feel like if he saw you like this?" Steve asks.
"Tony," Bruce says before running a hand through his hair, "I know you're the most effected with what happened. But, you need to pull yourself together!"
"Tony I'm getting rid of all the alcohol in this building. You're slowly killing yourself with no eating, sleeping, and basic exercise." Pepper says before stepping towards Tony and resting a hand on his face.
"Please Tony, I-we can't live with you like this." Pepper whispers.
Tony sighs, "Alright. I'll try to get my life back together." Pepper hugged Tony as if he was dying. "Thank god." Pepper mumbles into Tony's chest.
Tony let go of Pepper walked towards the elevator.
"Where're you going Tony?" Bruce asks.
"To apologize to the team." He answers before the doors of the elevator shut.
"What floor would you like to go on sir?" FRIDAY questions.
"Which ever floor has the most Avengers on. And get everyone there."
Once the doors finally open all of the Avengers were there staring at Tony.
"Hey guys," Tony sighs before continuing, "look, I would like to apologize to how I've been acting for the past months. With Peter gone I've been a mess. I fee like I'm my old man. But, I just really want to apologize for being the cause of Peter's leave. I know you guys probably won't forgive me, but I'm fine with that. I deserve it." Tony finishes with his head looking down.
"Tony, yes, what you did was wrong. But, everyone makes mistakes. We'll find Peter and get him back. No matter the cost." Rhodey says before standing up and walking over to Tony. "I'm just glad you finally stopped holing yourself up in that room." He says before slinging an arm over Tony.
"Go get a shower Tony. We can eat afterwards." Nat says kindly.
Back With Peter
"Woah. This is suit is amazing! Can I try it?" Peter ask excitedly.
"Go ahead." Hank answers.
Peter grabbed the suit and room to the changing room. A few minutes later Peter walked out.
"Hello Peter, it's been awhile hasn't it?" KAREN greets.
"Hey KAREN! It's nice to know you're still here!" Peter says.
"Hey Peter, let's go! I finally get to help train you!" Scott says in his own suit.
"Ok!" Peter jogs over to Scott.
Outside
"So Peter, you ready to be small?" Scott asks grinning.
"I've been born ready!" Peter answers.
Scott presses the button to shrink, while Peter used his middle finger to shrink.
(For Peter his shrinking button can only work with his middle finger. His web-shooters require 2 fingers to shot.)
Peter and Scott were on the ground with one of Scott's ants waiting.
"So Peter we'll first go underground with the ants. Then we'll go look at the spiders." Scott says.
Peter nods.
After Being Underground and with the Spiders
Peter and Scott returned to the palace dirty and sweaty.
"Pete, go take a shower. I'll meet you in the lab with Shuri, Hank, Hope, and T'Challa." Scott said before going into his room.
After Peter finished taking a shower and changing, he picked up his suit and walked to the lab. Scott was already there with Shuri, Hank, Hope, and T'Challa.
"Hey guys." Peter greets.
"Yo Peter!" Shuri exclaims from her desk.
Peter set the suit down on one of the many desks and walked over to Shuri.
"Whatcha working on?"
"Just a new thing for your suit. You know when Scott broke into the Avengers Compound, and Falcon was able to see him because of his googles? Well, just in case if you're in a situation like that, I'm putting this setting on where when you're small, you won't be able to be detected." Shuri answers.
"That would be really helpful." Peter says.
After awhile of everyone talking about Peter's training and suit, everyone said good night to each other and returned back to their rooms.
While Peter was laying on his bed he was thinking on what the Avengers did. Yes they didn't all say it, but Tony said it. The father figure of Peter. He sighed.
"I'll show them." Peter whispers before falling asleep.
Another 6 Months Later
'Finally, after a year of not being in Queens, I can see Ned, MJ, and May again.' Peter thinks.
"-eter? Peter?" Scott says waving his hand in front of the daydreaming boy.
"What?" Peter asks finally out of it.
"We're here." Hope announces.
They finally arrived at the house Shuri insisted on getting for them. It wasn't very large, but comfortable looking. The house was in the outskirts of the city.
Hank, Scott, and Peter began unloading all the luggage while Hope opened the house. After unpacking Peter decided he wanted to go on patrol again.
"Hey guys," Peter asks nervously, "I was wondering if I could go on patrol again?"
"Peter, do you think you can handle it? Once the news of a new Spider-Man the Avengers will instantly hear about it." Hank says.
"Well I think he's ready for it." Scott exclaims.
"I agree. Though Peter, if you need help, do not hesitate to call us." Hope says sternly.
"Of course Hope."
"Well get out of here Peter! You're burning the day away!" Scott shouts.
Peter ran to the lab in the basement to grab his suit and a spider. He quickly changed into his suit and bolted outside.
When Peter reached the sidewalk he pulled on his mask and set the container of the spider on the ground. He pressed the shrink button and saw the world began to get bigger. Once Peter stopped shrinking he walked over to the container holding the spider and opened the door.
"Hello, new spider. Could you be so kind to take me to Queens." Peter asks. The spider just looked at him. Taking that as a yes Peter jumped onto the spider's back. The spider began ballooning. (If you don't know what ballooning is look it up.)
In Queens
"I'm here in front of Sliver Range apartments where there is currently a fire burning. Firefighters are trying to get in but are saying the building is unstable. From we have heard there is still 4 people in the building. The firefighters are still-" the reporter was cut off by a bystander.
"OH MY GOD IT'S SPIDER-MAN!"
Peter swung into the building shattering a window.
"KAREN, give me a scan through of the building." Peter commands.
"There appears to be 2 people on the third floor, and 2 other people on the fourth. You have 3 and a half minutes to get everyone out before the building collapses."
"Fuck." Peter mutters under his breath.
He began running through the apartment building trying to find a way up. Peter found an opening and shot a web to the ceiling and pulled himself up.
"KAREN, where're the people?"
"Down to the right of you." KAREN replies kindly. Peter ran to the people and found them.
"Spider-Man?" It was a little kid.
"Please hurry." Another coughed out. Peter guessed it was the kid's sibling. He picked both up and ran to the window, Peter slammed his elbow against the it. The window shattered and Peter shot a web. He quickly changed the setting to non-sticky webs and shot out two of them.
"You guys are going to slid down. Go now!" Peter shouted.
The two siblings flinched at the tone but listened anyways.
Once the kids slid down. Peter found another opening and climbed up to the fourth floor.
"KAREN, where are the rest of them!" Peter shouted.
"They are 15 feet down to your left. I would say to hurry up. You have 45 seconds before the building collapses." The AI says.
Peter sprinted and quickly found the 2 last people.
"Spider-Man!" The both of them shouted.
Peter picked them up and ran to a broken window. He shot multiple webs in an angle and threw the people out.
"Peter, the building is about to explode you need to-" KAREN was cut off with the explosion. Peter was blown out of the building onto the roof of a near by building.
"Ugg." Peter groaned out. He sat up and looked around.
"Spider-Man returned!"
"That wasn't Spider-Man! That guy had a different suit!"
"I have a video of the guy getting blown out!" Was all Peter heard before sighing and shrinking down. He than called his spider back and began patroling around. Taking down a few attempted break-ins, muggings, and rapes. It was at about 3:40 in the morning when he decided to head back to the house.
When Peter reached the house he slipped into the house and down into the lab. He laid his suit on the table and put the spider back into it's container. Peter walked up the stairs and to his room. He quickly took a shower and jumped into his bed.
'Well, I finally revealed myself to New York. Wonder what the Avengers will think. I need a new name. Shrinking Spider? No, to long. Small-Spider? No, doesn't sound right. Recluse? Recluse. Has a nice ring to it. I'll go with it. I think I'll pay the Avengers a visit in a few days.' Peter smirks to himself. Finally, Peter falls asleep.
A Week Later
With the Avengers
"Sir, Nick Fury has entered the building."FRIDAY said.
"Let him up." Tony shouts from his lab.
"Also get the rest of the team to meet up in a meeting room."
"Right away sir."
Tony walked out of his lab and towards the elevator. When he reached the meeting room he was the last one there.
"Stark." Fury greeted.
"Fury." Tony returned.
"Now that everyone is here, let's begin this meeting." Fury says.
"As some of you know there has been a Spider-Person going around in Queens." A blurry picture of a person swinging on what appears to be a web showed up on screen. "Knowing Peter Parker isn't here, it can't be him. I want you guys to bring the person in and get them to register with S.H.I.E.L.D. We don't know if they are a threat. If we know their identidy and their weakness, we could be able to take them down just in case. Get as much information you can and report back to me in a week. Do whatever you can to bring them in. Just do not kill them. Meeting ajured." Fury walked out of the room with his jacket flapping behind dramatically.
Everyone was silent. They couldn't believe their ears that someone was impersonating Spider-Man.
"I want to take this guy in," Tony says angerly, "how dare this guy think he can be Spider-Man."
"Clint, Natasha, Wanda, find as much as you can on this guy. Steve, Bucky, Rhodey try looking around in Queens when this guy does their 'patrol.' Sam, Thor, Bruce, try to see if you can get a web sample. Vision see if you can look at all the places this person has been. Got it? Ok." Tony says before leaving the room.
"What about you Tony?" Bruce asks.
"I have my own searching to do." Tony says before leaving them all in the room with their thoughts.
What they didn't know was that there was someone in the room listening to the whole meeting.
'Ha. Tony hasn't even updated his security.' Recluse thought before junping out of the cracked window landing on his spider.
'This is gonna be fun' Recluse thought smirking to himself before flying away.
