"Are you sure you're going to be fine? I can walk you in, it's no problem."

I stop in place and ungracefully turn my head towards my best friend's car to see her looking at me with wariness. I feel a goofy smile start to slowly set on my face.

"Nah," I wave dismissively. 'sno problem 'm fine. See?" I raise my arms and spin around, showing her that I had no questionable bruises. I stumble, holding my hands in front of me to keep my balance before giggling. "Oh god, I shouldn't've done that, I think 'm gonna throw up."

Her eyebrows knit together in deep concern. She looks ahead before sighing and facing me again.

"That's not the only thing I'm worried about, (Y/N). You know what else I was referring to."

I stop smiling, my giddy drunk mood slowly fades into sorrow as the memories of her start to settle at the front of my mind again.

I remember resting my chin in my hand as I was staring at her. She was laughing at something or other. I watched as her bright blue eyes crinkled and her mouth displayed her pretty, white teeth, her head thrown back. Her laugh. God the sound of her laugh was so wonderful. I could not stop smiling dopily at her.

When her laugh diminished into chuckles and she composed herself to finally look at me, she raised an eyebrow in confusion as she smiled.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"What do you mean?"

She raised her both her eyebrows and scoffed in amusement before vaguely waving her hand in my direction. "Like that!"

"Like what?"

"Like I gave you the world or something."

I shrugged, still smiling at her. "Well, technically you did. You are my world."

Her eyebrows raised at that comment, the tips of her ears turning red at that. Adorable. She quickly tried to mask her embarrassment with nonchalance, shrugging her shoulders, mumbling something along the lines of "yeah, I better be."

"What? I'm just happy to see you happy."

She rolled her eyes to distract from the blush that was starting to lightly graze her cheeks. "Well knock it off." She folded her arms and shrunk in her chair slightly. "It's embarrassing."

"Oh? It's embarrassing that I like seeing you happy?"

"Well I mean," She started, sighing "I don't know. It's just different. I look at you like that all the time so you're pretty used to it, but you're over there all lovey dovey eyed and cute."

"Awww" I pouted, mocking her sudden timidness, "Billie's blushing at the attention. Ironic, isn't it? I mean don't you receive that everyday from millions of your adoring fans?"

Billie folds her arms tighter, sinking more to hide the now crimson blush on her face. "Like I said it's different. You know that."

I chuckled. "Yeah yeah I know, I'm just teasing." I look up at her, slightly guilty that I've caused her so much self-consciousness, but quickly push it aside, realizing she needs to know she's just as loved and appreciated. I let out a lopsided grin.

"I love you." I said softly.

She finally looks up at me, her blush only the faintest pink dusting her cheeks. She finally gleams.
