*The Next Day*

"Come Lucy or you're going to be late. Helen and her mom are here." Lucy's mother called from downstairs.

"Here I come!" The excited little six year old quickly trotted down the stairs with her white and orange backpack. Lucy was going to spend the weekend at her friend's house. Her parents and brother had made plans to enjoy themselves while young Lucy was away.

She gasped suddenly before bolting back to her room. "Wait! I forgot my Barbie!" Lucy chimed.

~~~~~~~
"I'm going to miss you, Lauren. But I hope you'll have fun at Helen's house." You said while giving her a quick hug. Lauren smiled and hugged you back.
"I'm going to miss you too. Don't worry, I'll have lots of fun plus Daniel is going to be there." She giggled excitedly which made you giggle too.
"Oh, how could I have forgotten." You smiled.
"I'll see you again on Sunday in the afternoon." Lauren said.
"Alright, talk to you later." You and Lauren returned to your original positions as Lucy ran into her and picked up Lauren before running back downstairs.
Once you were sure that Lucy was gone, you stood up and climbed down the dresser. This wasn't the first time that Lauren, or sometimes you, would be taken to a sleepover with Lucy. You hummed a mellow tune as you walked into the play room to change into a outfit. As you came into the room, you approached a cardboard box that was filled with different clothes. You grabbed onto the edge of the box and hoisted yourself up the side of it; you landed on top of the clothes and began to look through them. Lost in your own thoughts, your mind drifted from your plans for the day to Blackie. You felt your heart flutter as you looked through the clothes. The rockstar seemed to be floating around in your dreams lately, and you couldn't get him out. But why would you want stop thinking about that charming man anyways? With his outstanding intelligence, charming but witty personality and the way he would sometimes show his sensitive yet romantic side to you whenever the two of you were alone.
"Could I be falling for him without realizing it?" You paused for a moment then shook your head as you dismissed the idea.
You went back to what you were doing, singing another random song as you continued your search for a new outfit.
It was six o'clock in the afternoon and Lucy's parents were getting ready to spend the rest of day out on the town. From somewhere around four o'clock to five, they had been going over their plans that they had made during the week. Lucy's brother had left the house earlier today to spend time with his friends.
Blackie was lying on the coffee table in the downstairs living room, Lucy had left him there when she went upstairs to get ready for her sleepover, listening to everything that was being said by her parents. Going out tonight sounded like a great idea, it was something that he definitely had imagined doing with you when he discovered that you were a night owl like him.
"So it's dinner at the new steakhouse then the movie at nine, right?" Lucy's mom said.
"Yep, that's the plan for tonight." Her dad smiled happily.
"Alright! I'm going to get ready."
"Me too."
"(Y/N) would love to go out for some fun tonight! There will be plenty of sights for her to see too." He thought to himself as he fought the wide grin that threatening to glide onto his face.
Both parents got up from their places on the couch and headed into their bedroom to get ready. Blackie took this opportunity to climb down the coffee table onto the floor. He quickly beelined his way up the stairs, through the living room upstairs and into Lucy's room. There was a spring in his step as he walked into Lucy's room; he was excited to surprise you with the fact that he was going to take you out tonight. Blackie's bright eyes looked all over the room for you, but when he didn't find you he figured that you were in the play room.
You had just finished changing into your new outfit, which was a velvet, emerald romper that had long sleeves, black heels and a plastic, rhinestone necklace that spread across your collarbones. You were standing in front of a large mirror while adjusting your black headband when you noticed Blackie coming into the room.
"Hi Blackie! I haven't seen you at all today. How are you?" You beamed cheerfully as you turned to face him. He smiled at your bubbly personality as walked up to you.
"Hello (Y/N). I'm doing great, I was downstairs with Lucy for most of the day today." He told you. You nodded.
"That's wonderful. She and Lauren are at her friend's house right now, they're going to have a sleepover."
"So I've heard from her parents. Speaking of Lucy's parents, while I was still downstairs I heard them going over their plans for tonight. They're planning on going out to dinner then to the theater. And I... was wondering if you'd like to go out this evening with me." Blackie explained, his cheeks were dusted with a soft shade of pink as he waited patiently for your answer.
Your (E/C) eyes sparkled and a gleeful squeal left your rose tinted lips as you clasped your hands together. "Oh yes! I would love to go with you tonight. What time are we planning on leaving?" You  smiled widely. Blackie smiled back brightly, the feeling of butterflies whirling around inside of his only added to his joy that you wanted to go out with him.
"Awesome! I believe we'll be leaving in the next twenty minutes or so. I'll make sure that we get in the car before Lucy's parents do. And since you're already looking beautiful, as always, I'm going to change into something more casual." He charmingly said while taking your hand in his and gently spinning you around. You giggled sweetly at how kind and romantic he was being, it was in these small moments when you became head over heels in love with him.
"Okay Blackie, don't take too long." You joked as he began to leave the room
