Special Announcement - Power to the People

Hello and welcome!

As you are aware we're now looking at developing our next competition. However, we've also decided that the final word on what we do should be down to you - the competitors!

So, we're having a vote! We've taken our four favourite ideas and given you a short summary of each, though please remember that, like with the AoR tasks, we might not be telling you everything. Voting will last ONE WEEK. Please vote via PM. You can vote for either one idea or two, and here's where it gets a bit complicated. If you are voting for two ideas, please rank them in order of preference. This will help us to decide any ties.

IDEA ONE:

For official purposes, this place does not exist.

A twisting maze of buildings deep in the middle of nowhere. Here the strongest researchers and intelligence agents work around the clock to determine if the truth really is out there. But something has gone wrong. A signal received from a distant planet has sent the complex into lockdown and now the inhabitants are fighting for their lives. But in a place designed for maximum security escape is close to impossible and the greatest danger is getting closer by the minute...

IDEA TWO:

A world far from our own has been at war. The evil organisation Team Rocket has seized power and, as punishment for past humiliations, has demanded that each of the six regions (Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova and Kalos) provide two boys and two girls for a fight to the death in a currently unspecified arena. Each is entitled to take one partner Pokemon to support them in their efforts. Only those with the sharpest wits and the strongest bonds with their Pokemon will survive...

IDEA THREE:

The world's favourite reality TV show is back! Twenty four celebrities, one house and more drama than you can shake a stick at! Each week the housemates are set tasks to complete while every details of their lives and interactions are filmed for everybody to see, and at the end of the week the public will decide who gets thrown out. Bursting with a range of celebrities just looking for that big break, this is one TV show that will get you hooked!

IDEA FOUR:

The world is a wreck. Once-beautiful landscapes are cracked and broken by unseasonable natural disasters. The oceans have swelled, swallowing coastal towns and cities. Entire mountains have collapsed. A thick layer of ash hangs in the atmosphere, blocking out the sun and making it difficult to breathe, and when it rains it rains sheets of acid rain that wears down buildings and sizzles through asphalt. To survive here takes more than just determination. It takes almost super-human adaptability and quick thinking.

And things are about to get worse.

So there's your ideas! You have until 10PM on Friday 12th September to vote and the idea with the most votes will be revealed once we've got everything sorted (no timescales yet, I'm afraid). We hope you're looking forward to it as much as we are!
