~Midnight Epilogue~

Sleeping sweet September, startled by a scandalous singing

Sang long after sundown, sound swallowed in the shadows of that somber night

Song stuffed with searing sadness, seeking to be saved off the suffering

She cries after sunset, swimming in the sea of her soiled past

When souls snore in their slumber, hers soared in shocking heights of sorrow

She seemed fine in the surface, always smiling underneath the daytime sun

Because she's skilled in suppresing her tears lest it'll slide down her face

Her singing soon sounded like a stormy serenade, shuddering sonic waves of pain

She stood up, took big steps towards her bathroom sink and snatched a sharp scissor

She swung its sides suggestively, sanguine slits started to appear in her snow-white skin

The rest was slurring shush of streaming water sweeping her soaked floor with blood

Silence scattered in the room since she finally ended her scornful span of life

She used to sing a high-spirited song but her last note was suicide
