It's early Saturday morning,, Jordan has made arrangements to swing by to Riley's house for their first educational lesson. Her mother had been drunk all week, that left Jordan other choice but to leave the kids with the lady next door. She was kind and always sweet to Jordan, she knew what Jordan was facing but refused to call child services, because she didn't want all of them to split up. She also trusted Jordan to do her very best to take care of herself and the little ones. Once the kids were settled , she started making her way to the bus stop. She needed to get to Riley's house by ten am sharp. She knew Riley stayed at the other end of town, near all the gated communities surrounded by private school, and rich folks. The bus has finally arrived, she made her way. She greeted old man ted, and paid her fair and walked all the way to the back. Once she took her seat , Jordan put on her headphones and listened to music until it was her stop to get off at.
She walked for another five minutes, everything in the area looked so clean and tidy. Everything seemed like it was from a movie set, there was nothing of place. She even for a second wondered how they dared keep a bus stop near such expensive perfection. She finally looked at her phone ad the at the house in front of her. She did this twice over to make sure she was at the right place. Riley's house was huge, everything on the outside seemed massive to the eye. She had never seemed such things in reality before. She felt as though she was trapped inside a girly chic flick and the house was even bigger once entered. She walked over to the door and rung the door bell. She stepped back taking in such a beautiful building. She was in another dimension, she looked at her old tattered clothes and questioned she was dressed well enough to even step foot inside Riley's house. She snapped out her thoughts, when the door finally opened. She was surprise to see Riley open the door, she expected it to be a butler wearing a tuxedo that probably cost more than her house.
' Hey Jordan, come it. Welcome welcome. Sorry if the place is a little messy , i'm home alone for the week and I ask everyone not to clean ' , Riley blabbed on.
' You call this messy? It looks spotless to me .' , Jordan muttered.
Riley ushered Jordan to her end of the house. Her parents decided that for her fifteenth birthday, that they were going to give her , her own section of the house. It was basically the guest house in the back. Jordan felt really out of depth in this situation and was ready to walk out and never look back. That's until she remembered , she was doing it for her sisters and not herself. While she calmed down and made sure her feet was firmly planted on the ground, to make sure she wouldn't run away Riley started giving her the tour of her mini pad and asked Jordan to make herself feel at home. The tour was absolutely amazing, Jordan was fascinated with all the amazing art she had hanging up. It was not just expensive thrown onto the wall. It was mysterious pieces from various artists that fit together to make one big complete work of art. Each piece told a story on it's own, yet it also told another story shaped by unity when you looked at it together. The tour took a good one hour, although it was only the guest house that her parents had given her, it was huge and filled with so much character. When Riley was down showing her around she escorted her to the study area, that was next to her bedroom. Before they could settle in, she offered Jordan a can coke.
They spent the next two hours going through Riley's course work from her school. They did this in order to make sure that they were going to go over the right areas. Jordan also had to test Riley out to make sure what level she was functioning. It turns out Riley was not lying when she said she was failing, Perhaps she should have added that she was failing terribly.
