It was just a regular Saturday night. Hajime finished his homework earlier in the day and he was on his way over to the Oikawa residence to spend the night. It was just a regular Saturday night, or so he thought.

When he got to his best friend's home, he entered without knocking, took his shoes off, and headed up the steps to Tooru's bedroom. On his ascent, he heard the shouting between you and Tooru. He expected it was one of your regular disputes over hair products or video games until he heard what you were yelling about.

"No, _____, I will not allow this! Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Tooru yelled, making you even more frustrated.

"This is exactly why I didn't tell you. And I don't need your permission, aniki. You're not Mom or Dad, and I'm sixteen. You have no right to tell me who I can or cannot date," you retaliate, purposefully calling him aniki instead of the usual nii-chan.

Oh shit, Hajime thought. He was about to turn around and leave so not to get involved when he was suddenly given no choice in the matter.

"Iwa-chan," Tooru huffed out. "You will not believe this. _____ is dating Tobio-chan. Tobio-chan, Iwa."

Hajime decided he wasn't going to put up with this crap today and decided to say the truth, "I know."

He thought he broke Tooru for a moment–kind of wished he did because the next words out of his mouth sounded like venom, "You knew? You knew and didn't tell me that my very sister is going out with the enemy?"

"The enemy, aniki? God, just because you have some inferiority complex does not mean that Tobio is an enemy. And I told Hajime because my friend is interested in him and asked if we could go on a double date. He said no, in case you were wondering."

"Firstly, I do not have an inferiority complex, _____. And second, set u a double date with Tobio-chan. You and him with me and Hajime."

What did Hajime get himself into?

Hajime was uncomfortable. You were uncomfortable. Even the waitress seemed uncomfortable. However, Tobio was as stiff as a board and you knew he was downright terrified. It didn't help that Tooru was practically leaning over the table and giving Tobio the stare down.

The tension was finally broken (added to??) when Tooru finally spoke. "What are your intentions with my sister?"

Tobio's eyes grew impossibly wider. Seemingly confused, he stutters out, "Wh-wh-what?"

"Your intentions. What are they?" You kind of wanted to help Tobio out and tell Tooru to knock it out, but you were also really curious as to what your boyfriend was going to say.

"I guess, go on dates? I want to make her happy since I like her, so I'll do whatever I have to for that to happen." Good answer, Tobio, you think. Tooru knows well enough that Tobio is a simple boy, a horrible liar, and you call tell on the look of your brother's face that Tobio passed his little test.

"Hmm, well I still don't like him," Tooru muttered. After being whacked on the head by Hajime, he adds, "But I don't have to like it if it means _____ is happy."

"Thank you nii-chan, " you smile, and you mean it, too.

"Now," Tooru added with a scary smile, "Let's talk about the birds and the bees, or as I like to say, the birds and the beewa-chans."

What did Hajime get himself into?
