"Gino?" I whispered.
He looked at me funny and didn't say anything.
"Maddie... Wha- do you l-live here? He said quietly.
I looked down and nodded. Then, my tears started flowing.
"I'm sorry..." I said, wiping my tears.
"How long if you've been here?" He asked.
I sighed.
"About three months." I answered.
There was a really awkward silence , then he spoke up.
"Ya know Maddie... My mom kicked me out. And... I was wondering, do you want to live with me? I have my own apartment and a job." He said slowly.
I started to cry again.
He sat next to me and held me while I cried. He's sweet.
"You don't want to deal with what a mess I am..." I whispered.
He chuckled.
"I don't care. I-I love you Maddie."
I looked up at him.
He smiled.
We leaned in and our lips touched. He kissed me and I kissed back. It was perfect.
"I love you too Gino."
"Promise you'll take care of me?" I asked.
"I'll take care of you as long as I live."
And he pulled me into another hug.
