Chapter 4: A Mission With Spartan B312

As soon as we landed on the Infinity, Six was taken to Halsey for private conversations, more like 'interrogation'. The problem that Six has more to worry about is the fact he survived a glassing, saw nearly every single one of Noble Teams deaths except Jun of course, who is currently MIA. Just as I had finished getting dressed, I heard a knock on my door, when I opened it, Chief was there.

"Rookie, you performed excellently during our mission, you have done us well. I sincerely hope you find your Fireteam." I was shocked, I was also slightly surprised that he knew about my Fireteam. The fact that I never mentioned it to them but then again, I guess he read my file. Soon after I had eaten, I went to bed and decided to sleep. It had been nearly two days since I last slept properly. Waking up at the crack of dawn, I found myself wondering what everyone else was doing, Six was being questioned, Blue Team was god knows where, probably on a mission. Woken up at dawn by Six asking to talk to me, I was curious about what he wanted to talk about so I went with him to the armoury to get our new Mjolnir Mk VI suits sorted.

While on the way to the Pelican awaiting Six he stopped and said something to me. "Hey, rookie? You wanna come help me with a fight on Genesis?" I was shocked, I am a member of Blue Team, I shouldn't really be going on a Mission With Six but since he asked there's no harm done in going with him. "Sure, I'd like to go with you on your mission, but first I ought to check with Chief if that's alright." I reply. "Sure, you'd better go to see if it's alright with chief." Just then I heard a thud from behind me then a deep voice "Feel free to go with Six, Rookie, he'll need the help. Specially since the place has a forerunner structure and is crawling with covenant." Then Chief walks off to do whatever he needs to do. "Then it's settled, come on, down Rookie. Let's go" As soon as that's said we board the Pelican and set off.
