You sit above my body,
your hands tracing my skin,
kissing and worshiping every scar,
every stretch mark,
every flaw.
You tell me I'm beautiful,
and you tell me you love me.
My heart is so full when I'm with you,
and you bring out the best in me...
making me feel
and making me see things
I never had before.
My entire world opens up with possibilities
when I'm with you....
the love we have
is something I've waited a lifetime for,
and I'll be damned if any amount of time
is going to take that way from me.
I can't promise you
what will happen in the future,
but I can promise I want to spend it with you.
