Harry: Here

Harry sat in his car and nervously tapped his fingers against his steering wheel. His eyes darted to the exit of her building as he anxiously waited for her to come out.
Sid: coming
He felt the now familiar butterflies erupt in his stomach as he received the message from her.

After a few minutes, he watched her as she walked out the door. Her eyes scanned the parking lot and smiled as she saw his car and Harry couldn't help but let a smile show on his face as well.

"Harry!" She beamed as she opened his passenger door

"Sid!" He mimicked her tone "How lovely it is to see you on this fine day"

"Well it is just exquisite isn't it" She mocked his thick accent while she buckled her seatbelt.

"Hey now, I do not sound like that"

"Oh yes you do" She chuckled and watched as he put the car in reverse and backed out of the spot. "Where are we going?"

"Maybe the beach or something? I didn't really have much planned"

"Sounds good to me! Let me get that aux though" She grabbed the wire coming out of the car, she didn't think she'd ever been in a car this nice before. She scrolled through all her songs and finally picked one. With one click, "They don't know about us" began playing and Harry almost immediately let out a sigh

"Oh my gosh" He shook his head.

She ignored his discomfort "So, is this song about Larry?"

"You're going to lose aux privileges"

"Fine, fine" She changed the song to Style by Taylor Swift and he let out yet another sigh.

"Sidney!" He scolded her and tried hard to hide his embarrassment. He admired the fact that she was able to joke around and be goofy with someone she had technically just met. He appreciated the normality she offered.

"I'm just kidding!" She changed it once again to a random song she had sitting in her library.

After a 15-minute car ride where the two of them blasted all different kinds of music and sang along, Harry pulled into a spot on the cobblestone parking lot at the beach.

She gave him a questionable look as he passed her a dark colored beanie. She held the soft fabric in her hand and furrowed her eyebrows as she looked at him.

"Just so no one recognizes you" She nodded her head swiftly, trying not to make the concern evident on her face. Sure, she knew she had never been with a famous person before, but hiding like this seemed a little suspicious. She had no reason to suspect any wrong-doing on Harry's part but a portion of her felt like the weird relationship they had was a little too good to be true. He was Harry Styles, why would he want to be with her anyways. She was normal.

The two got out of the car and began walking along the beach. They took their shoes off and Harry released a sigh of relief as his feet hit the warm sand. Consumed in the moment of pure bliss, he grabbed her hand. The feeling of his soft skin entangled in hers made her feel at peace, the heat rose to her cheeks but she did her best to keep her head down.

"What are the odds" She muttered to herself, which earned her some raised eyebrows from Harry "You know, like what are the odds that I would accidentally text you, multiple times, and we would hit it off so well"

"It was fate"

"Do you believe in that?" Sid said as she stopped in her tracks to come face to face with him.

"I do, do you?" He brought himself closer to her and peered down at her small frame.

"I do now"

He felt his heartbeat beat faster and faster as her vanilla fragrance was made more potent to him. Harry took his hand and let it glide up her neck and rest right above her jawline, her breathing hitched and he took one more glance at her peach toned lips before he felt them on his own.

Her lips were soft and as welcoming as a pillow after a busy day, and Harry felt somewhat at home.
His head shot to the side as he heard the familiar clicking sound of a camera, he made eye contact with a photographer by the bushes that outlined the beach.
"Shit" He pulled away from her quickly as he muttered the curse word.
"Damn am I really that bad of a kisser" She joked, still taking the situation lightly. He pushed her hat down to cover her face even further and put his glasses on her. "What the fuck" she muttered

"There's paparazzi" He continued fiddling with her attire and trying to hide her face completely.

"Harry stop" She snapped "this is ridiculous, are you embarrassed by me or something?"

"No-Sid" He grabbed her shoulder but she shook herself out of his grip "It's not that" His eyebrows softened. "Just let me explain"

"I don't think that's necessary, I think I'll just call Jess and have her pick me up" She felt her skin spin on the sand as she turned away from him. Maybe she let her insecurities get the best of her, but at the moment her pride wouldn't let her admit that.

"Sid, I'm protecting you" He grabbed her wrist to try to stop her from walking away but again, she shook out of his grip. "Sid please" He begged, but she kept walking.

He ran his hand through his hair and cursed to himself out of frustration. He knew he was right, he knew the life he had was not one that she would want, but he hated how he went about it and how he made her feel.

He wished things had been different, part of him wanted to be able to take her on dates, take her out to dinner or to a movie. He wanted the life she had, and maybe that was why he was so intrigued by her. She was loads of fun, she was reckless and impulsive. This was a stage of his life that he had to skip, and although he was grateful for all the opprotunities he had recieved, a part of him still felt like he was missing out.
