I sat there, quietly as I let the information sink in. He counted the days, wow. I had expected this to have just been a wild goose chase but the whole time it was as if it was so personal. He stared me in the eye, smiling gently as if my presence accompanied his being, greatly. It was as if his eyes had caught me and was reeling me in, to search further and seek out my most inner darker thoughts.
"You really do remind me of someone, how is it I was able to see your true identity and the others weren't? Did Rebekah or Elijah see you?" He caught himself by removing his statement with questions, possible useful questions. I tilted my head, intrigued. "No, they did not but other than that, I honestly don't know, but I intend to find out whether it be sooner or later," I respond quickly, slightly sitting up so he knows that he has my full attention. He follows suit.
It's almost as if we were just two curious cats trying to search for answers. But you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat.
Maybe it was because we were both technically hybrids, or that we were two beings that had our lives snatched from us only to be exposed and wanted for 'murder'. We were two very different people but at the same time so very similar.
"Well, if that is so... maybe you won't be so opposed to forming an alliance? I mean, two very powerful beings could make one spectacular army," He said grinning such a devilish grin. Maybe it was his deep blue-green eyes or just his company altogether, but this man drew me in. Which no one has ever done before.
"You know, I think I'll take you up on that offer," I smirked foreseeing the predictable future before me. At that moment, I didn't think I just acted which also, I would never usually do. We stood up and outstretched our hands in the form a firm handshake of an agreement.
"My real name is Y/n, Y/n L/n," I said instantly trusting this man. "I trust that you don't spread this newfound information," I continued.
"You have my word."
