I was in class, and randomly remembered this dream I once had. It might have been years ago, or maybe months, I dunno. I just felt like sharing.
So you know how you have those dreams where you're falling, and you wake up? Interestingly enough, that's your brain checking to make sure you're still alive.
Anyway, I have those dreams a lot, but once, I felt like I was falling off a very tall building, and I could see the ground beneath me coming closer and closer. That sick dropping feeling was in my stomach, and I was scared. But I didn't want to wake up, because I never though I'd get back to sleep.
So I changed my dream.
I was determined not to wake up, and forced myself to fly instead. (If you've read Game of Thrones, it was a lot like Bran's experience) I literally felt wings sprout from my back, and they were friggin heavy.
I could hear a voice in my ear telling me I need to actually move the wings in order to not crash into the shiny skyscraper in front of me. At the last second I swerved up and went higher into the air. I could see a few other people flying around, all of them with white wings. The voice was from an earpiece I had on, and we were part of a team that was experimenting with wing genetics, our job was to master them and use them for the government.
Yeah it's short, but that's all the dream was. Fun Fact: Every time I want to write about a dream that didn't Just happen, I have to reread all my other chapters to make sure I didn't already write about it.
