"These are my dolls," Sarah said showing me all of her Barbie dolls. I nodded and sat on the blue beanbag she had in her room. "My daddy said that my sister used to love that chair before she left," she said. "Where'd she go?" I asked. She shrugged and said,"He never told me. He just said it wasn't safe for her and she left." I nodded. Why did that sound so familiar? I wondered.
·Flashback·
"It's not safe with me," he said while hugging me. "It's time to go," the man said. "I love you baby girl," my dad said quietly. "I love you too," I said quietly as the man grabbed my arm and my bags. I started crying as he walked away from my dad and my cries got louder the farther we went. "You'll forget all of this soon," he said to me.
·End Flashback·
I suddenly felt really nauseous and lightheaded. "Are you ok?" Sarah asked. I nodded, which I shouldn't have done. Everything started spinning and I couldn't really see anything. "Daddy!" was the last thing I heard before I blacked out.
·Flashback·
"Daddy!" I yelled running into his office. "No sweetie. Go back to your room," he said running me out of the room. I whined and reached up to him. "I'm sorry," he said. He closed the door and I walked slowly back to my room. I climbed into my bed and out my face into my pillow. "What's wrong?" my uncle asked as he walked into my room. "Daddy doesn't love me," I said crying into my pillow. He picked me up and soothed me. When I stopped crying he said, "Your daddy does love you. He's just needs to get his work done. Okay?" I nodded and laid my head on his chest. He rocked me to sleep and sang to me softly. I was almost asleep when the door opened. I opened my eyes saw my dad. "Daddy?" I said quietly. "Go back to sleep sweetie. Daddy was was just coming to check on you," he said and kissed my forehead. "Daddy. I want to sleep with you," I said reaching out to him. He sighed and picked me up. "Come on baby girl," he said smiling.
