Old Memories

Sensing him coming, Kanda takes a couple steps away from Ban, there in his chest is King's sacred treasure with him lying on it. "Glad you finally realise that," King tells Ban with an ominous looking grin, he spits out a flow of blood and the two siblings watch on in horror.

"Hey Ban, how goes. Awesome, it's so good to see you after all these years" King says, he then turns his head towards Kanda smiling gently at her.

"Hey Kanda, long time no see"

"It's good to see you too" Kanda responds smiling back, she turns her head back to Ban and askes. "Shall I let you two continue?" King nods looking back to Ban. Ban just watches King trying to figure out who he is.

"What's up? It's not like you to be so quiet" King questions.

"Hold on. Who are you?" Ban askes back looking down a bit, Kanda just shakes her head and sighs mumbling an 'of course you don't remember'.

"Well, my feelings are hurt. Who am I? Have you really forgotten about me"

"I don't remember you at all, sorry there bud"

"Hmm, well I guess it doesn't matter too much," King says as his spear starts to spin opening the wound in bans chest, "The important thing is" he starts again as the spear flies away behind them. Ban leans forward a bit coughing.

"You are Ban the fox sin, the sin of greed. Or maybe you'd prefer it if I called you this name" King pauses, Kanda turns and sees him standing on the tip of his spear as ban's chest closes up re-healing itself.

"Ban the undead" King finishes, Ban turns around wiping his mouth of the blood. "You got a smart mouth kid and I'm getting sick of your tone" Ban retaliates getting annoyed by King.

"What the hell do you know about me anyway" He finishes watching king closely, Kings sighs, "I know your sin" this grabs Ban's attention as he looks up with an 'eh'.

"Even if you don't remember me you could still remember your own sin, cant you. You know, that terrible, awful crime you committed. To satisfy your selfish greed and gain eternal life, you murdered the holy woman of the fountain of youth" Kings mentions, reminding Ban of Elaine. He looks down with a small growl.

"Listen up brats, get out of here" he warns the two little kids while clenching his fists, Kanda turns around and moves them away from the two sins. "Let's go, Ellen," the brother says leading her out of the courtyard with Kanda leading the way taking them somewhere safe.

"I'm right aren't I?" King says coming towards Ban while sitting on his spear. He moves to stab Ban again, but he jumps out of the way attempting to punch King as he dodges flying forward. Kanda moves out of the way closer to King as Ban breaks the wall.

"I'll ask you one more time, who are you!?" Ban yells looking for King to find him floating behind him. "I'm happy you came out here to play with me, cause you just walked right into my trap!"

King makes a hand motion and points towards Ban, his spear flying forward. Ban leans back and dodges the attack, "Now you won't escape. Maybe you can still remember 'BumbleBee'" King attacks Ban with one of his special moves as Ban moves around dodging all the attacks.

"Sorry, it's not ringing a bell either" Ban says jumping up to kick King, but missing as he fades away.

"I wish she could see this, and watch the man who took her life. Pathetically begging for mercy and agony" King says rising up into the air next to his spear.

"Now for the last time," Ban says getting annoyed, Kanda takes a couple of steps ready to interfere. Ban raises his hand with a sinister grin.

"Who the hell are you?" As he goes to attack, Kanda moves forward until the captain appears knocking Ban on the head with the bottom of his drink while saying 'Bad Ban', Kanda just laughs as Ban turns around rubbing his head.

"Hey captain would you but out, I'm kinda busy here"

"What's the matter with you, think you can just skip out on work" the captain replies, Kanda watches King as he leans forward and gasps, shocked at the captain.

"What's the matter with me? Some little punk I've never seen before came out of nowhere and started a fight" Ban replies pointing to King, Meliodas looks up towards King.

"I mean just look at what he did to my sweet threads" Ban complains

"Alright, someone better tell me what all this commotion is about," Diane says walking over to the group. She looks over to King and seems to be thinking for a moment. Diane and the Captain's eyes light up as they yell out King's name. Ban looks on unamused for a second before his eyes widen in shock as he looks down at the captain while pointing at King.

"Tell me how that tiny creep is supposed to be King!" Ban demands, Meliodas looks over to King.

"Well, maybe he lost a little weight" Meliodas replies

"A little weight!" Ban says still refusing to believe its King. "That ain't even the main issue here!"

"King! We came to look for you and now you're here, this is incredible I'm so happy to see you again" Diane tells him winking. He floats away, leaving them all wondering. As everyone turns to head back to the tavern, Kanda runs forward a bit before jumping up to the top of the cliff, following King.

"What a moron, I can't believe how stupid I am! Idiot" Kanda hears King mumbling into his pillow, she approaches him from behind and pats his head, shocking him.

"Kanda! What are you doing here?" He askes

"I came to see you, considering I would be the one you'd rather talk to than the others," she says sitting beside him, leaning back onto her palms. King lets out a sigh and tells Kanda his problems.

"Now Diane's gonna think I took off because I saw her, then again who could blame me. Hearing that after being away from her all this time" King says thinking back to what she said, he then floats up doing loops, continuing.

Kanda laughs gently at his awestruck state. "Diane's just as adorable as she ever was! But what am I gonna do? What if this tips her off that I like her! What am I gonna do, and why hasn't the captain changed at all in the past 10 years anyway? It's strange that he looks the same"

"I still look the same as 10 years ago" Kanda adds, drawing King's attention to her. "That's because of where you're from and how she helped you," Kings tells her.

"True," she says pointing at him.

"Still it was really good to see them both again. I can't let that monster deceive my 2 friends! Ban, I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure you pay for this!" King says determined. Kanda watches him and thinks about telling him the truth but decides against it, 'it'll be fun watching them two go at each other again'.

"What about me, you aren't gonna save me from him?" Kanda questions playfully. King looks down at her and smiles. "I know you can handle yourself against him, so I'm not worried" Kanda laughs lightly before sensing something.

"Come on we gotta go back," Kanda says getting up and walking back to the others, " Wait, how come?" King asks.

"It's starting, we need to be quick if you don't wanna miss it when it opens," Kanda says turning her head and smiling at him, King gets the hint and picks up Kanda rushing them both to the village. They hide behind some bushes and watch the group among the flowers, King gasps looking at them all.

As the flowers start to spin around them Kanda jumps off the cliff and lands next to the group shocking them a bit. "Hey where'd you come from and where did you go?" Hawk asks her.

"Ohh nowhere important" she replies looking over at Ban, she watches him and silently comes to stand next to him. He looks towards her, and she smiles gently knowing it was him and his memories of Elaine that opened the doorway.

Everyone covers their eyes and Kanda looks up to see King fly in and hide somewhere once the Flowers disappear, as they look around in awe of the necropolis, Kanda sneaks away to search for someone, as Ban rans after Elaine with King following behind him. Leaving the others shocked and confused.
