Present day: The Breakout

News had reached Kanda and Jericho that the captain of the seven deadly sins and another member had reached Dalmary Town, Jericho wanted to go out but Ruin, Golgius and Friesia had already left. As soon as they left Kanda knew they wouldn't survive and waited for the right moment. Jericho wanted to prove herself by taking one of the sins on but even Kanda knew she wasn't capable of such a thing. While they were sitting and waiting, Ban made his move and broke free causing a huge commotion.

Hearing the slam Jericho rushed down with Kanda behind her when they got to Ban's level Jericho Approached from one side while Kanda came from the other. As they reached Ban's cell Kanda could see him standing on the door with holes covering his body, and his long silvery blue hair and beard, from not being cut.

"What's all this commotion," Jericho asks with authority, both guards and ban look over to her. One of the guards gets out a surprised 'Jericho'.

Kanda stays back watching from behind, Jericho walks up to Ban and attempts to get him back in his cell.

"Ban of the seven deadly sins, I don't know how you escaped your cell, but return there at once" She warns using her thumb to point back inside.

"How about some respect kid, I'm not really sure how you were raised, but is that any way to talk to a hero"

"I am an apprentice holy knight, you dare call me kid. That's pretty disrespectful for a prisoner who's at death's door" Jericho tells him before turning her attention to the guards.

"Go to sir Golgius and the others at once, tell them all, Jericho and Kanda had to take down the fox sin when he escaped and tried to resist" They both nod and say 'Right' before running off. Jericho then looks behind Ban to Kanda.

"Should I take him, or you?" she asks

"You can do the honours" Kanda allows. Jericho then turns her attention back to Ban and grips her sword's handle, looking forward at him, With determination on her face she starts forward slicing her sword at Ban. Jumping past him she lands by Kanda sheathing her sword. Ban lets out a series of fake groans and a small laugh, before turning around to the two.

"Do you think I had you take off too much?" Ban asks while rubbing his chin with his fingers. Shocked, Jericho gasps and quickly turns around to face Ban again. Kanda's eyes widen as she stares at him a bit shocked. 

"Well it feels pretty good, so I guess I'm ok with it. You got some real talent there kid, you could be a barber."

"You dodged my sword even with all those injuries"

"Injuries? Whaddya talking about, huh" Ban responds failing his arms about while showing off.

"Impossible. Just minutes ago your limbs were full of holes, from steel spikes running through them"

"It'd be good if you remember this kid. There's only one wound on me, and it is this one right here, got it? So you could say injuries I get from that guy are kind of a special case, I guess"

Jericho turned to look at Kanda to see her chuckling, she was shocked and confused right now, she didn't know what to do. Kanda, however, knew exactly what to do.

"I remember you getting that like it was yesterday, you really were dumb enough to go after the captain's sword, even though I warned you," Kanda said to Ban while slowly walking towards him, he smirked at her remembering what she said.

"Kanda what are you doing!?" Jericho said urgently, trying to save her friend from a monster. Kanda turned and looked at Jericho then back to Ban.

"I guess even after 10 years people still feel threatened by you, being around you for so long must have made me numb," Kanda says smirking at Ban while he stares down at her. She soon walks away as Ban returns his attention to Jericho, he walks over to her and picks her up by her jaw.
